I was alone.

Back then, truly alone.

I waited for a ray of light in my darkest life.

And then,

I met someone.

I met you.

Someone who lifted me from those dark past and memories that haunted me for years.

You gave me hope,

You gave me temporary happiness,

A shelter,

A home,

That no one else could provide.

Because you're the only one who understands me, through ups and downs.

You were always there for me, making me happy and giving me my brightest days.

But little by little, this ray of light began to fade.

Hoping that you'd never leave me.

But still,

you left me without saying anything.

You left me when I needed you the most.

You're like an

ephemeral light,

a fleeting shade just for a moment, and then my life would be in darkness again.

I thought it was real.

I thought you'd never leave me.

Or so I thought.
