Volts POV:
As we make our way to the outskirts of the village which is where I assume the den Trix is in is located I think to myself. Why does Lunar think I'm so weak?! He knows what be done the gym challenge and helped win 7 badges. I've trained a lot with my trainer. Sure I wasn't up to my trainers level for him NOT to release me but I'm more than capable of at the VERY least holding my own against Hula.
"Alright we're here. Trix! Come outside! The new member of the village and Fighting Squad is here to meet you!" Lunar and I wait a few moments before I see a female Meowstick come out of the room.
"Hey Lunar, hey Volt. So we doing introductions huh?" Trix turns to me. "As you already know I'm Trix. Nice to meet you Volt. Gotta say I'm surprised you were allowed to join the Fighting Squad. You don't look very strong to me."
"WHAT?! LUNAR SAID THE SAME THING!!" Trix too?! Just from a glance?! Ridiculous! They underestimate my capabilities!
"Well of course he did. Any skilled fighter can tell how strong someone is just by looking at them. I bet on everyone's life Hula could tell as well. She is just too nice to say anything about it." Lunar and Trix laugh at her silly little bet.
"Well then everyone better prepare for the worst because introductions was not the only thing we came up here for! We also came up here so I can challenge you to a battle to prove to Lunar and now you as well just how capable I am!" I get in my battle position roaring to go soon as possible.
Trix has a shocked look on her face. "Lunar! Don't tell me you allowed him to challenge me to a battle! You know I have trouble holding back my strength!"
Lunar still smiling says, "Hey if the newbie wants to battle I say let him battle! Experience is the best teacher I always say!"
Trix shakes her head. "Whatever. You sure you want to do this Volt? Want to go till one admits defeat?"
This is super irritating! "Yes I'm sure! And don't hold back! You'll regret it if you do! And I won't be admitting defeat. If anything you'll be the one doing that."
Trix lightly chuckles. "If anything you got jokes newbie. Lunar! You be the ref!"
Lunar goes to the sideline where a ref would be. "Already planned on it!"
Trix turns back to me. "Ready when you are Volt! Your move!"
I smirk and say, "I'll take up that offer!" I quickly dash towards her using Volt tackle hoping to end it quickly to impress them more. But right before I get to her she just disappears in an instant.
What?! Where'd she go?!
"VOLT USE DIG LETS GO!" Just then as if my body goes on auto-pilot mode I jump in the air and nose dive into the ground.
"OUCH! Hey who said that?!" I look around to see Lunar chuckling to himself.
"Lunar! Why would you do tha-." Just then a sense a heavy presence appear right behind me.
"Lesson one. Never take your eyes off your opponent."
Right after hearing that I feel a heavy punch connect in the side of my stomach and ribs both causing the wind to get knocked out of me and black out.
