Chapter-25 : Trust?!

𝘼𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙧 𝙋𝙊𝙑 :

"I need you, Jake!" Anna said while placing her one hand on Jake's hands.
Jake was so shocked by her words and actions.

"W-what are y- you talking A- Anna?!" Jake said while looking into her eyes and his words were shuttering.

"I want to be yours Jake! You don't know what you've done to me!" Anna said while tears started forming into her eyes.

Jake was so shocked by looking at her.

"The day you left me, it felt like you've taken all my peace with you. I can't see you in trouble Jake! You don't know how much I loved you. I loved you more than myself. I trusted you more than myself but you were not worthy of my trust." Anna said while her eyes became glittery. Jake just listened to her while his head was hung down. He was feeling a little guilty by looking at her. His heart started feeling a mild pain which was not usual.

"Now I decided that I won't love anyone in my life. I won't trust anyone. I won't get married in my life. I deserve to be alone." Anna said while wiping her tears and turning her expressions into a cold one.

Jake was speechless by her words. He got so much hurt by the words she has said just now.

"I just want to be your business partner." Anna said.

"Anna! Don't misunderstand me. I didn't want to hurt you in the past. It's just the order which has passed to me. I had to complete that order." Jake replied.

"If we think about what you said now. Professionally, it was not in your hands. You've been said to do that. You were doing your job. According to your perspective, what you've done in the past was not your fault." Anna said. Jake was so shocked by her very understanding ability. He was feeling whipped by her understanding skills.

"I'm glad that you understood. So, tell me in which matter you want to be my business partner?!" Jake asked.

"I heard that you have a pharmaceutical warehouse. I want to invest in your pharmaceutical company. I want to know which drug you are supplying?!" Anna said.

" Well! You really helped me by saying you want to invest in my company. I supply the zolgensma drug but I want to ask you something?!" Jake asked.

"Sure go on?!" Anna said.

"Why only me? Why only a pharmaceutical company? Why not other business?!" Jake asked professionally.

"Hmm... Let me answer you this! I want to upgrade my business not only in Europe but also all over the world. And coming to your next question, a pharmaceutical company is the only leading and largest business plan and you have the leading pharmaceutical business. So why not?!" Anna replied way too much professionally.

Jake was impressed by her. Her every word was effecting him. He was very convinced by her.

"Hmm.. You really are a great business women. I would like to deal with you! But what was your condition to invest in my company?!" Jake asked being a little confused.

"Well, I want to know each and everything about your company, your supplies and your financial things. I have right to ask you all these because I'm one of the shareholders and business partner in your company." Anna said.

Jake was now a little scared to tell her about the dangerous drug which he supplies. He was hesitating a little.

"Well.. Umm... The thing is, I do supply things legally and illegally too." Jake said.

"Ohh, that's common in pharmaceutical company. We can't always be going in a legal way, right?! Business has no rules. Everything is fair in business unless and until you are a mastermind." Anna replied.
