Taylor returned to the table where the girls and Kylie were still making friendship bracelets and sat back down. "Look what Lance got me!" she excitedly told Kylie.
"Camprie son tonight on you," Kylie told her with a laugh. Kylie smiled, happy that her friend, her sister, got a piece of something she loved back in her life. Taylor had always been such a huge fan of music. She could sing almost any song just by hearing the basic melody. It was one of the talents that Kylie picked up about her very early on in their friendship.
"I heard that someone told Tree what I said about my old guitar," Taylor said, giving Kylie a playfully mean look.
"Well, we couldn't help it," Kylie told her.
"We?" Taylor asked, her eyebrows furrowed. "Who's we?"
"I kind of let it slip to Trav what you said and then Trav told Tree. so Tree must have called Lance after we left her cabin last night and told him." Taylor;s face palmed, and then laughed.
"Leave it to Trav to seek justice on my behalf." Taylor let out another laugh. That was Travis. He always came to her defense and always spoke out on her behalf when she was too scared to do it herself. She could ask him to do anything for her, and he would do it, no questions asked. That was just how he was. He would do anything for her, or anyone for that matter. "Tree is going to know everything that I tell you, isn't she?"
"If it's something that's harming you or something that you need help with, yep, she will know," Kylie confessed, shrugging her shoulders. "We just want what's best for you, Tay. We all really care about you. We know you've been through a lot, and you don't deserve to have a hard time anymore. We're all going to make sure that never happens."
"Thank you. I really appreciate it." She forgot what real love and support felt like after not having it for so long. She was starting to be reminded of it little by little the longer she was here.

Taylor and Kylie walked over to the table where their girls were sitting and sat down in the space that was left. Being a counselor was very different than being a camper. She had to get used to getting food last and making sure all the campers were situated first. She had already gone over to Michael and made sure he was okay. He looked like he was so happy, and she could only hope that his happiness stuck around. She could also tell that he was tired out from his day of swimming and running around with Travis, Ross, and the other little boys.
"Hey honey, good to see that you're finally back," a voice said from behind Taylor. Whoever the voice belonged to proceeded to wrap their arms around Taylor's neck in a loving manner. Panicked, Taylor elbowed the person as hard as she could hitting them in the stomach. "Holy shit," the voice said, as if the wind had been knocked out of them. Taylor turned around, seeing the older version of the girl she used to know.
"Karlie, why the heck would you do that?" She asked putting her hand over her chest. "You scared me half to death," she fussed.
"I didn't know that would be your damn reaction," Karlie coughed.
"I learned not to sneak up on her earlier," Ross said as he walked past the scene with his tray of food.
"My God," Karlie said as she headed back over to the table where she had been sitting with her own group of campers, her hands still grasping her stomach where Taylor had elbowed her. Taylor's eyes followed Karlie as she walked back to the table. She caught a glimpse of Brittany, who gave her a thumbs up. Taylor burst out laughing at the sight of the younger girl giving her approval of hitting Karlie.
