"So, Taylor's your girl now? When did that happen?" Ross asked as he pulled on his shirt. There was about an hour left to prepare before the campers started to arrive. There was an excited, yet nervous, energy floating around the camp. It was typical for the first day with the campers. So many personalities would be trickling in, and not all of the kids knew how to get along with each other. A lot of learning and unlearning would be happening in the coming days until everyone felt like a family amongst the new and returning campers.

"What are you talking about?" Travis asked him, putting his baseball cap on backward.

"Last night, you called her your girl," Ross reminded him. "Are you forgetting a certain, Miss Kayla, that you've been seeing for the last couple of months?"

"What about her?" Travis asked. Ross thought he knew what Travis had going on with Kayla, but in actuality, he realling didn't. When it came to dating, no one tickled his fancy. He would talk to someone for a few months, never make anythink official, and then move on to another. He had been that way since the summer Taylor left. He didn't feel anything for anyone other than her.

"Aren't you dating the girl, Trav? You just forgot about her that quickly?" Ross raised an eyebrow at his friend.

"We're not dating," he admitted. "I've only had sex with her, nothing official." Travis shrugged his shoulders.

"Let her tell it, the two of you are in love and on your way to walking down the aisle in a dress and a tux." Ross said, laughing a little bit as he looked at his friend.

"She's delusional then because we have never been anything more than fuck buddies, at best." Travis wasn't the type to lead anyone on. He was always very clear about what he wanted out of any relationship he got himself into. He knew for a face he never asked Kayla to be his girlfriend. Kayla never formally met his parents; the time she met his mom, Donna, was by complete accident. "When we first started messing around, I told her it was nothing but sex, and she agreed. So if she has made it into something else in her head, that's her fault."

"That's cold, man." Ross laughed. He knew that Travis was telling the truth. He had never seen Travis be anything more with a girl. And the way Travis still worshipped the ground that Taylor worked on, it was clear only one person would ever own his heart.

"It is what it is." Travis looked around the room, making sure everything was in place. Nine more seven to eight year olds boys would be arriving today, and he wanted to make sure it was smooth sailing. "Where did Michael go?" Travis asked Ross when he noticed Michael's bunk wasn't made.

"I think he went to Taylor and Kylie's cabin," Ross replied.

"He needs to come make this bed." That was one of the rules at camp. Every bed had to be made when you gout out of it. It didn't have to be near, but it had to be made. "I'll go get him." Travis exited the cabin and just as he was rounding the corner, he saw Michael walking towards him with Taylor and Kylie. "What's up, bud? Why didn't you make you bed?" Travis asked once the three of them were close to him.

"See, I told you you needed to make your bed every morning," Taylor said with a little laugh as Michael tried to hide behind her legs.

"Come on, let's go make it." Travis said, reaching his hand out for Michael. Michael looked up at Taylor and she just shook her head at him, denying him any assistance from her. "Mommy can't help you. Let's go." Michael walked out from behind Taylor with a fron on his face. He went back into the cabin with Travis.

"Kylie!" Taylor and Kylie heard a voice coming from a distance. Both girls turned to face where the voice was coming from. Taylor saw a blonde haired girl who looked as if she was slightly younger than they were coming towards them. "Oh my God, I can't believe we aren't together this year!" Taylor raised an eyebrow at the girl. "I'm stuck with Karlie this year."
