RORY'S PARTY WAS three days ago, and yesterday i had asked clementine on a date. i told her it was going to be a surprise so she has no idea where we're going or what we're doing.

i'm taking her on a picnic date with a lot of painting supplies so we can paint. painting is one of clementine's favorite things. she's always loved drawing and painting and taking art classes.

art class was the class she always looked forward too, it was always her favorite. i had already bought the canvases, paint, brushes, glitter, pens, and anything else i saw that i figured we would need.

i even bought a cute blanket and most of her favorite drinks and snacks. i was currently getting ready before i go to pick her up.

jayla walked into my room, closing my door behind her and sitting down on my bed. "so how excited are you 1-10" she asked.

"do you really need to ask? obviously a 10, i know she's gonna love it, why wouldn't she? she loves painting, it'll make her love me even more" i responded.

"wanna, have you guys even said that to each other yet? you know, love?" she asked. we hadn't, not yet at least. i've always known that i love her, but i don't know if she feels the same.

"uh no not yet, but i was planning to today while we're on our date" i stated, looking down. "hey, don't get upset wanna, im sure she feels the same just make sure you don't pressure her into it, you know?"

"yeah i know, i'll let you know how it goes though. i just finished getting ready so im gonna go ahead and go get her" i got up, grabbing my shoes and putting them on.

"okay, have fun, and good luck" my sister kissed my cheek and walked out, closing the door. i grabbed my keys off my desk, before heading downstairs, spotting the rest of my family.

"im gonna go pick up clementine now, so i'll see you guys later unless i stay the night with her" i hugged my mother goodbye, and she placed a kiss on my cheek.

"have fun wanna, be safe" she said before i walked out of the house. i walked to my car, getting in, and texting clementine to let her know i was on my way.

i finally got to her house, and knocked on the door. the door opened, revealing rory. "come in wanna, she's just putting shoes on" rory stated, opening the door more so i can step in.

i walked in before walking towards the room where clementine was, putting on her shoes. "hey gorgeous" she looked up, smiling. "hey handsome" she wrapped her arms around my neck, pressing a light kiss on my cheek.

"you ready?" i asked, and she nodded in response. "okay let's go, when we get closer i'll help you cover your eyes for you" i stated.

we said bye to rory before we got in my car, driving to the spot where i had jaden set up everything while i pick my girlfriend up. i made sure to tell him to be gone before we got there.

"okay we're almost there baby so put this on" i handed her a blindfold and she quickly put it on. we finally arrived and i got out walking to her side of the car, opening her door and helping her get out of the car.

she got out, and i locked the car before grabbing her waist to help guide her and make sure she doesn't fall.

"this is scary love, are we almost there yet?" she asked. "and we're here" i stated kissing her cheek before grabbing her hands.
