Yves was anxious as she stayed in her office, waiting for the time to pass by.

rethinking if it was the right time, or maybe she can still back out.

"Ma'am? Off duty na po," her secretary said.

"Paki sabi kapag wala na si Colet sa office," she said with a smile. The secretary bowed her head before walking out, while she just anxiously waited.

Yves waited almost an hour or two to pass before walking towards Colet's office, turning off all the lights that she would pass on.

As she opened the door, Yves quickly turned the lights off as she approached the door where Colet was.

She took a few deep breaths before twisting the door knob and opening it slightly.

She clapped her hands, making the lights inside automatically turn off, before walking inside.

Pure darkness has covered the room; the curtains were closed, leaving no traces of light.

She walked towards the bed, seeing a figure lying down.

"She's asleep," she whispered before sitting beside her sleeping wife.

She stared at her face, tucking in the strands of hair that fell off her face, admiring her wife's face as she slept.

She was about to take her hands back when Colet suddenly pulled her wrist, startling her and causing her to lose balance.

"Hindi mo ba alam na masama ang pumasok sa kwarto ng ibang tao," Colet said as she gripped her wrist tightly.

"Masakit, Col." Colet's hold instantly loosens up grip after hearing her wife's voice, and without a second thought, she pulls her into a hug.

"Yves," she whispered.

"I told you, uuwi ako sayo."

They stayed hugging each other like they hadn't just met.

savoring each other's warmth also made the two feel confused about how they feel safe and calm with each other without a doubt.

"You turned off the lights on purpose, didn't you?" Colet finally broke the silence.

"I'm sorry," Yves whispered. Colet's lips found its way to Yves's forehead, making the latter close her eyes.

"Kahit ilang taon pa, basta sakin ka lang uuwi, Yves," Colet replied. She doesn't know why she said that, but that's what she felt at the moment, leaving tears in Yves's eyes.

"Sayo lang ako uuwi," Yves snuggled more close to Colet as she used her wife's arm as her pillow while the other one was wrapped around her.
