Maeve woke up as the sun light passed through the window. She looked at her left and saw her fiance still peacefully sleeping with her hands wrapped around her and her face slightly buried on the crook of her neck.
She gently tucked in the strands of hair that fell off her face before gently removing her arms so she could stand.
She closed the curtains before fixing Aiah's comforter as she lowered the air conditioner's temperature.
She took all their clothes that had been left on the floor and walked her way to the bathroom.
Looking in the mirror, she couldn't help but chuckle, seeing the mark left by her beloved.

"Hey Maeve," Jazryn greeted; she was on the bar stool.
"Hey? Coincidence you're going to eat?" she asked. She was in Sienna's restaurant buying breakfast for her and Aiah.
"Nah, inaasar ko lang si Sienna." Maeve chuckled after hearing her answer. Jaz and Sienna never changed ever since college.
"It's too early for banter, but you both don't care anyway."
"Dali mo," Jazryn cutely said.
She sat down beside her as she waited for her order. A long silence covered them; all that you could hear were the other customers chatter.

"I wanna say sorry that you got hurt, but I don't really feel sorry for having her." She utters that stunned Jazryn.
She looked at Jaz with a small smile.
"Just treat her well, or else I'll take her," she calmly said with a smile.
"Dream on Martinez; I'm not going to let Maraiah go," she smirked, making the latter chuckle.
"I'm hoping that I wouldn't have to forcefully take her from you."
"Ginagawa niyo dito?" Their conversation stopped when Sienna arrived.
"Ah sayo to?" She asked Maeve as she lifted the paper bags.
Jazryn didn't let the chance slip and went ahead and teased Sienna, "Bakit di mo tignan yung pangalan imbis na tinatanong mo siya."
"Bakit din may manggang dito ang aga-aga?" Sienna clapped back, making Maeve chuckle.
"Nag advice na nga nalait pa," Jazryn whispered, but Sienna still heard her.
"Wag kang mapag-panggap, hindi ko kailangan ng advice, alam kong asar mo yon! Papansin."
"Ilusyon mo naman! Malay ba ni Maeve sa laman niyan, bakit siya tinatanong mo? Mamaya sakin pala yan."
"Mama mo sayo, di ka naman nag t-take out dito." Sienna rolled her eyes before looking at the receipt, and when she saw that it was Maeve's order, she quickly gave it.
"Hi mo nalang ako kay ate Aiah," Sienna said when she recognized the food that Aiah constantly ordered.
"Una nako" paalam niya sa dalawa, they both waved their hands before bickering once again, making her shake her head.
