"Maraiah, sit and calm down, can you?" She finally had the courage to speak because she's getting dizzy from watching her walk.

"Ate," Garnet called with anger flaring in her eyes, which is a very rare sight for Maeve because usually the eldest and the youngest Reeds have a smile on their faces.
Garnet may look intimidating at some point, but you will see how humble and soft she was, while Aiah was always warm and welcoming.
But today, those Reeds are gone. It felt like the Maraiah and Garnet in front of her were completely different people.
