Eight tossed the chalk agressively to the board as it breaks in half.

She's the only one remaining inside the academy. Everyone lived their own lives.

Luther was the last person she wished to work with in the apocalypse since they were the one left inside the academy. Although after few years he was sent in the moon.

Now she's alone. But of course she still has to continue finding for some answers.

She dedicated her life to find answers from her countless nightmares and to find Five.

Soon she's slowly finding out that she's doing this for everyone. Eight felt like she's responsible for the end of the world.

"Number Eight."

Eight jumped from her bed as she heard a voice that she hasn't heard for a while.

"Dad?" She quickly stand up from her bed, fixing her uniform as she straighten her body. Reginald roamed around her room, observing every area and corner.

She secretly rolled her eyes from his father's strictness. But also she wonder why he's inside of her room

Reginald never bother coming to his children. If there is something important they need to know, Grace was the one who will inform them.

But this time Reginald himself showed up.

Eight sighed as she was expecting that she's going to be the next experiment since she's the only one left. "If you're going to send me somewhere, just not in the moon please." She spoke, breaking the silence.

Reginald faced on her board filled with equations and probability map. He cleared his throat, "I'm afraid you'll stay here, Number Eight." he paused, "Based from my observation, you're trying to find who's responsible for the end of the world."

"Yes, dad." "Hmm. Interesting. Are you sure about these names?"

"Around 60% of chance that they might be the one." Eight replied, "Well if you want to be sure of what's the outcome, you can't just be sure because there are '60 %' of chance that it might work. What if the 40% is something bigger, something more important. No matter how less than it is, it might still a big thing." He turned around to face Eight.

"You have to be 100% sure of everything , Eight. You don't know what's going to happen when there is a possibility of failure. It may affect everything, even if it's just amount of chance that will most likely to happen." He explained.

Eight scoffed, "How will I know if I am sure? Everyone calls me insane, even my own brothers and sisters."

"You found something that you're sure that is going happen soon. Of course you can find the cause. You are capable of something, Eight. I am going to say that I am quite impress of what you're capable of." He said as he walked towards the door.
