"They have their own lives now, maybe it's just us now."

"Are you sure they'll let us in?" Eight asked as they stood in front of the bar where Luther works.

Five didn't respond but instead grabbed her wrist and spacial jumped inside, "Well, I have my powers." The others were looking at them since they're not supposed to be there... I mean they literally looked like teens.

"Uhm, you guys shouldn't be here." An employee spoke from behind as the two turned their backs.

Five smirked, "What time do you get off?" He asked on the employee causing her to widen her eyes and got a bit uncomfy as Eight smacked Five's arm.

"Really Five?"

"What?" He smirked as they found themselves some seat, "Just trying to get her away from us, don't be jealous now, darling."

Eight rolled her eyes playfully, "You're crazy."

"Eight wouldn't like this idea Five, and she's too young for you." A man spoke from behind, "Nice to see you too Luther."

"Hi, Luther." Eight smiled as Luther's eyes widened knowing that Five is actually with Eight this whole time,

"What do you want?" Luther asked, "For you to stop hovering like an ambitious stripper and sit down with us." Eight replied as Luther sat beside Eight.

"How long have you been here?" Five asked as he glanced at Luther, "A year, thank to you."

There was a pang of sadness knowing what he'd dragged his siblings into, this caused Eight to feel bad, now she wonders how many years have been the others staying in this place and timeline.

"I'm sorry, Luther. I know that couldn't be easy." "I thought everybody was dead."

Luther looked behind the two as his expression changed, as if something or someone warned him to do something, "I gotta go." He stood up.

"Luther wait!" Five grabbed his wrist. "I get it, okay? I know what it's like to be stuck in time...thinking this is how you're gonna live our the rest of you life.On the run, and now knowing if you're ever gonna see the people you love again, and to be in an unfamiliar world. But Luther you're not alone. We have to find the others because the world ends again in ten days. Eight and I have no idea how to stop it."

Eight frowned from what Five just said, she really felt bad. She knows how must Five felt during those 45 years alone, especially she saw it from her nightmares.

Luther composed himself, looking at Five and Eight. He took a deep breath. "I don't give a shit."

Eight stood up, "Really Luther? We should've left you in the apocalypse!" She yelled as she followed him. Five sighed as he noticed that there were people staring at the scene, he stood up then followed Eight.

"Five just told you that world's gonna end in ten days!" "Yeah, well you're always saying that." Luther said, almost mocking her. He was about to walk away again but Five stopped him.

"And so far, she's been right." Five spoke.

Luther sighed, "Look, you want to go save the world? Knock yourself out. You both have each other this time, why not work together? Plus, I already got a job."

Eight scoffed, "Wait, you work in this shithole?" "Yeah. Well, my boss owns the place" He said as Five and Eight side eyed each other.

"I'm his body man." He added, "What's that? Like, a masseuse or something?" Five said.

"Okay, you both can make fun all you want, but I take good care of Mr. Ruby-" "Wait, ruby?" Five interrupted as he looked at Eight.

"...The Jack Ruby-" Eight spoke, "The gangster who shot Oswald?" Five continues.

Luther nodded, "Yeah, the one and only." He said as he glanced on the man from afar.

Eight chuckled playfully, "Well, it finally happened... That gorilla DNA has taked over your mind." She said causing Five to grin.

"Hey, watch it, all right Jack's a good friend." Luther said, almost sounding offended. "And you're Number One. Numero Uno. Remember?" Eight snapped.

Luther shook his head, "There is no Number One. Not anymore. Not in 1963. Look, I've been stranded here alone for a year. What did you expect?" Eight rolled her eyes, "But Five experienced worse!"

Five sighed as he held Eight's shoulder, "I get it all right?" He looked at Luther, "You watched Pogo die, the world exploded, and I marooned your big dumb ass in time. I'm sorry, okay?" He sighed,

"But I'm asking for you help, Luther. The Umbrella Academy needs you-"

"It doesn't need me." Luther scoffs softly, "It never did."

Eight sighed as she looked at Five, "Luther, honey, Jack's about to lose it on some half- wit. A little help?" A random woman walked in.

"Ah, shit." He said before walking away.

"Luther wait." Eight tries to stop him, "Listen, Five's the genius who said we should jump. Right? He's the one who got us stuck here, and you're the one who brought Vanya. So if there is a doomsday coming, she's probably the cause and if I was gonna do something about it, it sure as hell is not gonna be with the two of you." He said before walking away.

The two watched him walk away as they got back to the counter and grabbed themselves a drink as they watched Luther does his job.

"Dad should've left him on the moon." Five uttered as he placed his drink on the table.

Eight looked at Five, "Hey, it's not your fault okay? And get used to it, they were like that when I first told about the apocalypse. Give it a little time." She paused, "I mean... I guess I can't say that, it took me 13 years for them to believe... But trust me Five we got this."

Five looked down, ""They have their own lives now, maybe it's just us now." he said as Eight shook her head. "Don't say that Five. They're not just used to the adjustments... At the end of the day, we'll just reunite... That's what family are for."

His eyes shifted on Eight, "I wouldn't know what I would do without you."

"Hey, you made it for 45 years." Eight said, trying to light up the mood. Five chuckled, "Look, Five... We're all stuck here but you're alone now Five. We'll do this okay? Maybe Elliot got some ideas... We're doing this because we love our family despite their stupidity."

Five smiled as he nods making Eight relieved that she somehow lighten his mood. Suddenly he gets up from his seat and grabbed something from his pocket.

Eight glanced on the tape. "Oh, I almost forgot that Hazel slipped this on my pocket during the doomsday... This must mean something..."

Eight smiled as she grabbed the tape, "Good start, Five. Let's go now."
