Today was a crazy day, a lot happened to me. A car accident happened in front of our building, the microwave almost caught fire at work, I witnessed a marriage proposal in a restaurant, etc...
"Ah~ finally home, really a day out of the ordinary..." I sighed as I got home.
I wonder if it was God who made this day go crazy, or if it was just a series of crazy coincidences...
To clear my head, I decided to take a quick stroll around my balcony.
"Hm... we have a good view here, I was good to move to the 6th floor." I said, sipping my tea.
The view in question
I took advantage of this moment to have a moment of reading with the diary.
Dear Diary
I had a day, but really completely hectic, that's why I called it "Restless Thursday". A lot of events happened, in a single day, there were at least four in total, FOUR!
The first event happened this very morning, when the English teacher did not come. We had to wait next to our door.
"And so, that's how I fell and broke my arm!" Joachim told me one of his anecdotes.
"*Laughs* Oh yeah, it must have hurt..." I put things into perspective.
"Yeah very bad, otherwise when will the teacher arrive?" he asked, annoyed.
"Ah yes, that's true, I didn't even notice he was late."
I hadn't noticed the absence of the teacher so much that I was busy chatting, instead of having the English teacher, Mr. Picota and Mr. Blanchard came and we entered the class calmly.
"Well, as you noticed, Mr. Jones didn't come, so Mr. Blanchard will replace him, the teacher told us that his wife had given birth" announced Mr. Picota.
*Gasps*
"I reassure you, I reassure you, she is doing very well, Mr. Jones will take two weeks of maternity leave" he continued.
"Ah..." everyone reassured themselves.
The reason Mr. Jones didn't come was because his wife was going to give birth, so as the school stipulates, two weeks of paternity leave. To be honest, I didn't know he was married, since he wasn't wearing his ring, but hey I said "congratulations".
The second happened during lunch break, while I was eating my cordon bleu in peace, I heard two high school students arguing, I couldn't make out what they were saying, but it was because that someone had bumped into someone, causing them to drop their dish.
"Yo apologize, man! What's your problem?" shouted one of the students.
"It's not my fault if you're blinder than your grandmother," said the other.
