After successfully evading Medusa's lair, the group found themselves on a train ride after buying tickets for its long adventure.

They had settled into their room, but naturally, Grover grew hungry. He had a hankering for some kind of chocolate and he figured there had to be some kind of food caddy around. He dragged Drea along to go look with him.

Wandering around for about a minute, they spotted a cart that had on-the-go snacks laid out. Jackpot.

The two sat at one of the tables instead of going back to their room with the idea that if they went back to Percy and Annabeth, they'd have to share, and they did not want to do that.

"There is nothing better than a good crunch when you take a bite of a KitKat." Meanwhile, Drea was shoveling down handfuls of skittles. They started having some small talk and Drea took the chance to blow off some last steam about Percy.

"I mean, if he was gonna be here for more than one reason you think he'd tell us, but no." She mentioned his secret of his mom being alive.

"..Yeah." Grover suddenly became quiet.

It was noticeable to the point that it threw Drea off. He was talkative up until now. His mood made something click for her.

"You knew, didn't you?"

He didn't respond. He just looked up at her with a sorrowful look.

"I'm sorry. I knew that if I mentioned it.. you guys would've been fighting even worse before we even started and this quest wouldn't have stood a chance." He swallowed back a lump in his throat and continued, "You guys aren't the only one counting on this quest."

His face read as something of major concern, leading Drea to ask, "What do you mean?"

"I need to prove myself. I botched another attempt at getting a half-blood to camp and the council wasn't very forgiving."

Her heart broke for him.

"They said they'd consider giving me my license if I went on a quest and it succeeded."

She suddenly realized that Grover had never followed up with her when he said he'd go to the council.

"Was this when you went to ask about Percy's mom?"

He nodded.

"That's when they told you about her and Hades didn't they?"

Grover just stared at her.
