I walked through the shadowed alley, my steps trembling as I ventured deeper into the darkness.

A blood-curdling scream pierced through the silence of the night, sending my heart racing. Ahead, a man lay sprawled on the ground, clutching his abdomen,

I rushed to his side.
"Sir are you alright?"

He didn't answer, I shook his shoulders, but he just lay there, writhing in pain.

"I'll call an ambulance" I stammered.

He grabbed my hand, shaking his hand, his touch sent a shiver down my spine as his hold tightened.

I had no idea what to do.

"Sir, can you walk?" I asked, my voice trembling.

His grip tightened on my hand, his eyes wild with pain and something darker.

"Help me up," he muttered through gritted teeth.

I looked around, the surrounding gloomy, aware that I am alone with an injured stranger in this abandoned alley. An icy deead clawed at me,

My mind screamed at me to escape, to save myself and never look back, but my primal instincts urged me to help him. If he died, his blood would stain my hands....forever

With immense efforts, I managed to lift him on his feet. He slumped heavily against my shoulder. We began to move slowly towards the end of the alley. His blood seeped through his abdomen leaving a crimson trail behind us,

"What's your name?" I asked, trying to keep him conscious.

"Ghazi abbas," he rasped. The name sent cold shiver down my spine. It felt like a bucket of ice-cold water had been dumped over me. I knew of him- the merciless mafioso, who ruthelessly controlled the city

Terror gripped me, but it was too late to turn back now.

The silenced seemed to consume us only to be broken by his ragged breaths and distant echo of our footsteps. As we left the alley, I felt as if parts of me had slipped away, left behind with him and the shadows of the dark passage. It wasn't the end; it was the beginning of something—of a storm that would engulf my life.
