Zahriya khan never knew that her one act of mercy would bring chaos into her world. As she patched up ghazi's wound, an ominous voice whispered-a hurricane of irreversible storm is going to engulf her.

Terror gripped her, but it was too late to turn back now, she was bound to a mafioso with no escape in sight.

Emerging from the alley, she had no idea where to take him. "Take me to that bar," his rugged voice commanded

A small light flickered in the distance, she moved towards it. Realizing it was a bar, She hurried, knowing it was their only refuge.

She opened the door with her free hand, they stumbled inside gaining attention, the bartender, an old man with a scar across his cheek, eyed them warily.

"I need help" she called out, her voice breaking. "He's been injured"

The bartender hesitated a bit but nodded towards the back room anyways, "Take him there, I'll call someone" She shuffled to the back

She laid ghazi down on an old couch, his face pale and slick with sweat.

The room smelled of beer and cigarettes but it was way better than the cold alley.

The door burst opened as a woman came rushing, "Hi, I am doctor khadija" She passed a small smile to my disheveled state, "What happened?"

"I don't know, I found him in the alley. He has been injured here" I pointed towards his abdomen.

Her eyes narrowed as she clearly examined the wound, "It's serious, we need to stop the bleeding and prevent infection. Do you know who did this?"

Zahriya shook her head, her heart pounding. "No, I just found him like this."

The doctor quickly set to work, her hands moving efficiently. She cleaned the wound with antiseptic, causing Ghazi to wince and groan in pain.

"You need to hold him still," Khadija instructed Hayat. "This is going to hurt."

Zahriya nodded, gripping Ghazi's shoulders as the doctor stitched the wound. Ghazi's teeth clenched, his breathing ragged, but he didn't cry out.

As Khadija finished, she looked at Zahriya with concern. "He needs rest and careful monitoring. Are you sure you can handle this?"

"I think I have no other option?" Zahriya hesitated.

"Be careful" she said before leaving.

Pulling a chair in front of the couch, Zahriya sat down and covered her face with her palms.

What had she done? Helping a mafioso would surely lead her life to hell. How could she have been so blind? But leaving him to die wasn't an option.

Hours passed and Zahriya stayed by Ghazi's side, watching over him.

She couldn't help but think about how attractive Ghazi was. She had expected an old man with broken teeth, but he looked youthful and devilishly handsome.

As dawn approached, Ghazi stirred, his eyes fluttering open.

"Where am I?" he asked, his voice hoarse.

"You're safe," Zahriya replied. "We are in bar, a doctor patched you up. You need to rest."

Ghazi's eyes locked onto hers, a mix of pain and something unreadable in his gaze. "You should have left me there."

"I had to save you, you could have died" her voice trembling.

Ghazi's expression hardened. "You have no idea what you've involved yourself in."

Zahriya shivered visibly,

Ghazi closed his eyes again, his body relaxing slightly. Zahriya watched him, her mind swirling with questions and fears. She had no idea what the future held, but she knew one thing: her life had irrevocably changed.

After a while Zahriya's phone rang, it was an unknown number.

"Hello?" Hayat spoke.

"Ghazi?" Her eyes widen as she heard his name

"It's for you sir" she said, handing him her phone.

He answered it with a grunt, and after a terse conversation, he handed the phone to Hayat. "Talk to my right hand. He'll know what to do."

hayat took the phone, her hands trembling "This is Zahriya khan. Ghazi's been injured. We're at a bar—"

"Stay there. I'm coming," the voice interrupted, then hung up.

Minutes later, the door to the back room burst open, and a tall, imposing man entered. He scanned the room, his eyes landing on Ghazi. "Boss, we need to get out of here"

Ghazi nodded weakly. "Help me up, Sarwar."

Sarwar moved quickly, helping Ghazi to his feet. Ghazi leaned heavily on Sarwar, but his eyes met Zahriya's one last time. "Stay out of this from now on."

She nodded, unable to find her voice.

As Sarwar and Ghazi left, the door swinging shut behind them, Zahriya felt an overwhelming sense of relief mixed with fear. She had done what she could, and now it was time to return to her normal life.

Zahriya made her way out of the bar, the first light of dawn stretching over the ground. She took a deep breath, trying to steady her nerves. Her hands trembled with fear of the future. She had no idea what lay ahead, and her body felt exhausted.

Once home, she collapsed onto her bed without changing her clothes. Her mind wandered to the events of the night. She closed her eyes and opened them, hoping it was all a nightmare. But it was a stark reality.

Despite her fatigue, sleep was far from her. Every time she closed her eyes, she saw the blood and heard his painful groans. The shadows of the dark alley haunted her as she hugged her knees. The darkness of her room creeped in, filling her with fear.

Days passed, Zahriya tried to shake the thoughts of Ghazi from her mind. The constant fear that he would come back into her life engulfed her. Every knock or shadow movement scared her. Every unfamiliar face in the crowd made her heart pound. She felt trapped in her own fears.

Her days were filled with his memory, a dark cloud moving with her and unseen eyes watching her every move.
