Y/n POV

The sky was a soft, wintry gray, with snowflakes gently drifting down like tiny feathers. It wasn't a full storm, but enough to dust the landscape in a thin white blanket, and enough to make my breath visible in the cold air. The massive mansion behind me loomed tall and dark, its stone walls as unyielding as the decision I was about to make. My heart pounded as I gazed through the frost-covered window at the figure standing outside - Luffy.

His straw hat was tilted low, protecting him from the light snow that landed on his black coat. His hands were in his pockets, and his usual carefree smile had been replaced by something more serious, more determined. I could sense the urgency in his stance, the readiness to act. He had asked me to make a choice, and I could feel the weight of it pressing down on my shoulders.

I glanced back into the hallway where Law was, his sharp eyes catching mine. He knew something was up. He always did. Law had his reasons for staying here, locked in a plan of his own, one that was far more complicated and calculated. But my heart wasn't with strategy or carefully laid plans - it was with the Straw Hat crew, with the impulsive, fearless captain who had promised we'd make it out, together.

Luffy had a way of pulling people in, of making you believe that no matter how crazy the plan was, it would somehow work. And now, standing outside in the snow, he was waiting for me to decide: Would I join him in this escape, leave everything behind, and run with him and the others?

I took a deep breath, my fingers tightening around the scarf wrapped around my neck. The cold was biting, but it was nothing compared to the coldness in the mansion. The walls here felt like they were closing in, like they had been watching my every move since we had arrived. Law had been quiet about his intentions, but it was clear he wasn't ready to leave. He had unfinished business, something more important to him than escaping with us.

But me? I couldn't stay here. I couldn't be trapped by indecision or by Law's secrets any longer.

I turned away from the window and walked down the corridor, my footsteps barely making a sound on the stone floor. My mind raced with the possibilities, the dangers, and the excitement of what lay ahead if I chose Luffy. I could see the other crew members already moving in the shadows, preparing for the escape. Zoro was sharpening his swords by the door, Sanji adjusting his coat, while Nami and Robin whispered quietly near the gate, planning the route through the mansion's outer gardens. Chopper, perched nervously near the entrance, kept glancing up at the snow, as if unsure if the weather would work in our favor or against us.

And there was Luffy, still waiting outside.

I could hear Law's voice echo in my head. He had warned me about Luffy's reckless nature, how his plans were never fully thought through. But I knew that Luffy wasn't just about strategy - he was about heart. And sometimes, that was all you needed.

I reached the door and stepped out into the cold, the snow crunching beneath my boots. Luffy looked up, his usual grin spreading across his face as soon as he saw me. "There you are! Ready to go?" His voice was light, but I could hear the seriousness behind it. He knew what this meant - that by choosing him, I was leaving Law behind, abandoning whatever secret plot Law had been working on.

I nodded, my breath forming small clouds in the icy air. "Yeah, I'm ready."

"Great! The others are already set. We just need to make it through the garden, past the guards, and we're home free!" His optimism was infectious, as always. It didn't matter that the guards were watching, or that the mansion was practically a fortress. If Luffy said we could do it, I believed we could.
