♡Saanjh x Samar♡
Nothing seems worse than this; I've lost him, I lost my Major.
I fell down on the ground as the two men in front of me tried to help. One of them handed me some medical papers while the other pressed Major Samar's letter into my trembling hands.
He was burning before my eyes, the world around me blurred like a distant dream. My eyes accused him for leaving me alone in this unforgiving reality.
A world teeming with malevolence; he left me to navigate it, his audacity lingering with the words, "Don't stop your life for me." How could I do that? Is it even possible? The heat of the flames seemed to wrap his very essence around me.
Even within this dark house, it felt even darker in my heart. I was terrified to lift my gaze and confront what he left behind: a letter and the flouche. The mere thought of picking it up and summoning him paralyzed me, just as the idea of reading his last letter filled me with dread.
"Saanjh," a voice echoed through the empty house, snapping me from my despair. I looked up to see the shadow of a man, and I began to crawl toward him.
"Stop," he commanded, and, against my will, I obeyed.
"Pick up the flouche," he urged softly. Without hesitation, I grasped one end of the flouche, while he held the other end in his hand.
"Tell me, why did you miss me so much? I got hiccups instead of my last breath."
"I'm sorry." Tears streamed down my face, each drop heavy with regret.
"This is not the answer. I missed you less throughout the journey, but in the final moments, I couldn't help but miss you so much."
"Did you?" I questioned, desperate for a connection.
"Yes, I missed you immensely in those seven minutes of my life."
"Please come back. I can't live without you, please, Samar."
"Dua main sirf tumhe rakha tha, Saanjh. Humesha se, khud ki salamati mangne se bohot kam ho jata khud ki nazaron main."
"Bohot bure ho tum."
He smiled, a soft, yet pained smile...
"Tumhari nazaron mein bura banna bhi accha sa lagta hai."
I clutched the thread tightly, my lifeline to him.
"Saanjh."
"Saanjh, let me go, please."
I shook my head defiantly.
"You are a liar; you lied to me!"
He smiled faintly, slowly loosening his grip on the flouche, and my heart sank deeper.
"Please don't leave, please... please."
"Khayal rakhna apna. Good health and good life is waiting for you," he said, his gaze drifting toward the paper beside me. I followed his gaze and saw the medical papers and the flouche lying abandoned on the ground. I dropped the flouche and immediately snatched up the medical papers, opening them with hurried desperation.
No more signs of depression; the patient is fit and fine.
Saanjh's breath hitched as the reality began to sink in. She instantly turned her face back to him, but there was no one there. The flouche lay on the floor, bridging the gap from her end to his. Her scream echoed through the room, a haunting cry of despair.
The Letter
Teri arzoo na mita sake,
Na hi jaan tujhpe luta sake.
Yun tadap-tadap kar jale, magar,
Na hi agan ko dil se bujha sake.Khamoshiyon ki zubaan samajh,
Mera haal kya main bayaan karun.
Mere dil mein tu hi basa rahe,
Yahi har ghadi main dua karun.Agle har janam apse he milne ki khawaish leke janam lenge
Wajood ban chuki hai, humari
Miss me less, I don't like hiccups
I love you my Saanjh♡Thankyou♡
