Loosely based on SlayyPop's new video about the Bangalore vlog.
Abhyudaya and Gautami had been best friends since their college days. They had always wanted to visit Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India, but their hectic schedules never allowed them the luxury. Finally, they managed to carve out a weekend for this much-anticipated trip.
As their flight landed at Kempegowda International Airport, Abhyudaya turned to Gautami with a smile. "Ready for the adventure Gautami?"
"Absolutely! Let us make the most of it," she replied, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
They grabbed a cab and headed straight to their hotel to freshen up. After a quick breakfast, they decided to kick off their day with a visit to Lalbagh Botanical Garden.
The moment they stepped into Lalbagh, they were captivated by the lush greenery and vibrant flowers.
"This place is stunning," Gautami remarked, taking in the scenery.
"It really is. Let us take a walk through the Glass House," Abhyudaya suggested.
As they strolled through the historic Glass House, Gautami could not help but admire the exotic plants. "Did you know this was modeled after the Crystal Palace in London?" She asked.
"I read about it. It is amazing how much history is preserved here," Abhyudaya replied, snapping pictures of the flora.
Their next stop was Cubbon Park, another green oasis in the heart of the city. They rented bicycles and pedaled through the park, enjoying the serene environment.
"This is so refreshing," Gautami said, her hair blowing in the breeze.
"Yeah, it is a nice change from our usual routine," Abhyudaya agreed.
Feeling a bit hungry, they decided to head to MTR (Mavalli Tiffin Rooms) for an authentic South Indian lunch. The aroma of freshly cooked dosas and filter coffee welcomed them.
"This is heaven," Gautami said, savoring a bite of her masala dosa.
Abhyudaya nodded in agreement. "The coffee here is something else," he said, taking a sip.
Post-lunch, they decided to visit the Bangalore Palace. The grandeur of the palace left them awestruck.
"This place is like a fairytale castle," Gautami remarked, her eyes wide with wonder.
Abhyudaya agreed. "Imagine living here. It must have been something."
They spent a good part of the afternoon exploring the palace and its surroundings, taking numerous photos and sharing stories about the place's history.
As evening approached, they headed to MG Road for some shopping and to soak in the vibrant atmosphere. The bustling streets were filled with shops, cafes, and street performers.
"Let us get some souvenirs to have us remember about this special trip forever," Abhyudaya suggested, picking up a handcrafted wooden elephant.
Gautami laughed. "I was thinking the same. Look at these beautiful silk scarves."
After their shopping spree, they decided to end their day at the famous VV Puram Food Street, known for its delectable street food.
"This looks like a foodie's paradise," Abhyudaya said, his mouth watering at the sight of various dishes.
"Let us try everything!" Gautami exclaimed, leading the way.
They indulged in a variety of local delicacies, from spicy chaat to sweet holige, enjoying every bite.
As they sat on a bench, savoring their last morsels, Abhyudaya turned to Gautami. "Today was incredible with you. Thank you for making it special."
Gautami smiled. "It would not have been the same without you Abhyudaya. Here is to many more adventures."
