Pete sat on his chair restlessly. In front of him was a doctor, who Pete actually knew, it was Arm.
Arm was treating Pete's injured knee because he jumped recklessly earlier. So were Pol and Porsche who were standing behind him.

"Pete, don't jump like that again. Do you want to get shorter?"

Pete folded his arms across his chest. "Jumps have nothing to do with being short, Arm."

"Yes. When your body jumps to the ground, you lean on your feet. Because of the strong impact, and because your short stature can't withstand the force of gravity, it causes your bone structure to shift..."

Porsche continued. "Is this about dislocated bones or brains? My lord, it's the brain that's dislocated."

Arm sighed as his words were interrupted by Porsche. It was enough for him to know, but this master and his bodyguard were the same. They were often noisy, while the Emperor's personal bodyguard, Pol smiled vaguely the entire time he entered this room.

"Why are you here?" Porsche asked Pol who was still smiling vaguely.

"Guarding the Candidate Queen."

Pete suddenly wanted to get up and pull Pol's hair, "Who wants to be Empress?" He screeched.

Suddenly Pete was almost about to walk away and scratch Pol in annoyance. He still refused to even think about this. Even though he was now in the Emperor's private palace, a room as big as a living room belonging to the Prime Minister.

But Porsche pressed Pete's head to keep him in his seat. Making Pete claw in the air, still sitting on the couch. The alpha male was surprised, his Master was now like a fish on land.

Never be quiet.

"Pete, don't defy Your Majesty again," Porsche whispered to Pete. Which made Pete immediately shut up, although the omega's lips pursed in annoyance.

Meanwhile, Pol stretched his ears to eavesdrop. Unfortunately, Pete showed his fierce face to Pol. Making the bodyguard stand still in place. Pretending not to be interested in the whispered discussion between Porsche and Pete.

Pol didn't want to take the risk of making Pete angry. Pete would be reckless again, right? After jumping from the window, Pete could now climb the Palace's pole, right?

"I choose to live a normal life," Pete whispered back.

"What kind of normal do you mean? You've been acting weird lately. You should be proud to be the Empress Candidate."

Yes. Pete should be happy, but Pete prefers his normal life. Not to mention this life is not his. No one knows if he can go back to his world or not, and the real Pete returns to his body.

It's not funny, if real Pete travels between universes while single. Suddenly returns to their own world, and becomes someone else's mate .

Moreover, the mate bond cannot be temporary.

Pete will be tied to Vegas for life and death.

Then the guy sleeps with his damn Concubines too if Vegas has Concubines.

Vegas gets all of Pete, and Pete gets the part of Vegas! What a loss.

"So what should I do?" asked a tired Pete.
