i woke up. i checked the time on my phone. it was 5:30 AM. i was surprised teru wasn't up yet. i went to the bathroom, carrying my bag. i put on the extra uniform i always bring with me, because i was not about to wear the same one i wore the other day. i brushed my teeth. i went out of his restroom, and he was still asleep. i exited his room, walking down his staircase. nobody was up. i didn't want to be a bother. i left their house and started walking home.
after about fifteen minutes, i was home. mind you, it was about 5:55 AM now. i had woke up at 5:30, spent ten minutes in teru's restroom getting ready, and the walk home was fifteen minutes. simple math. i ran into my mother, who usually leaves for work at six. she gets to work at 6:30. she works early so she can get off early. she's an accountant. i don't really understand that stuff, but it's alright with me. she gets off at 3:30 and spends the afternoon and evening volunteering at homeless shelters. she comes home at 8:30. she's really admirable. i'm proud to be her daughter. and her whole schedule, it doesn't bother me at all. i'm fine with it. my mom really does love me a lot. my dad left us when i was five. i don't remember him at all. but now, my mom has a boyfriend. he's really nice.
"oh- hi honey! i'm just heading to work now." she said as she saw me in our yard. "yeah, of course, have a good day, mom." she smiled at me. "love you." she went into her car and started driving away. i waved at her as she drove by. "love you too." i mouthed and unlocked the door. i still had like an hour and thirty minutes before school starts. i walked into my house, my cat greeting me.
my cat's name is ben, named after beomgyu's english name, ben choi. i promise i'm not delusional. i just thought it was cute. when i first adopted him, i did take a picture and post it on tomorrow x together's weverse, with the caption, "this is my new cat, ben. i named him after beomgyu."
i petted ben, and he purred. i love cats. maybe that's why my enhypen bias is jungwon. i went over to the kitchen. i poured a bit more cat food into his bowl. he purred again, closing his eyes tightly. i heard when cats do that it's like they're kissing you or something. i'm not sure. i heard it a long time ago anyway.
i then went out of the kitchen, back into my living room, which also had the staircase to me and my mom's bedrooms, and the guest room. i don't know why we have a guest room. we don't even have guests. i went up the staircase and walked to my room. my mom's room was at the end of the hallway. mine was the first room to the left. my mom's room has a bathroom. the bathroom i use is across my room.
i entered my room. my room always smells like vanilla because i always use vanilla candles. i had tomorrow x together posters everywhere. i've purchased every album they've released. sometimes i buy all of the versions, or just buy one. i was only in here because i wanted to smell the vanilla scent again. i exited my room, going down the stairs, and i was back in the living room. our front door is in the living room. i walked to the kitchen. the stairs to our basement were in the kitchen. the basement was okay. i walked down another flight of stairs. i reached our basement. i took off my bag, taking out my uniform and putting it into the washing machine. i watched as it spun, but then i got bored and left. i went back up, and i was in the kitchen. i looked at the time.
