New beg

Taylor Swift woke up to the soft light of a winter morning filtering through her bedroom windows. The hustle and bustle of her recent tour was finally behind her, and she could breathe a little easier. Her fiancé, Travis Kelce, had managed to carve out a few precious hours this morning to spend with her before he had to head to the team hotel for the pre-game preparations.

They spent the morning wrapped up in each other's company, enjoying the tranquility of their home. Taylor made pancakes, and Travis insisted on making his special omelet, filling the kitchen with the comforting smell of breakfast. They laughed and talked, savoring these rare moments of peace.

"I've missed this," Taylor said, smiling as she sipped her coffee.

"Me too," Travis replied, reaching across the table to hold her hand. "But after tomorrow's game, we have the whole off-season to ourselves."

The thought of spending more time together made Taylor's heart swell with happiness. They had a wedding to plan, and she was looking forward to every moment of it.

Around noon, just as Taylor was tidying up the kitchen, there was a knock on the door. Frowning slightly, she wiped her hands on a dish towel and went to answer it. She wasn't expecting anyone, and the sudden visit piqued her curiosity.

Opening the door, she was greeted by the sight of a woman in her mid-thirties, dressed in a professional-looking suit. Beside her stood a little girl with striking green eyes and curly brown hair, holding a small stuffed rabbit.

"Hello, can I help you?" Taylor asked, her voice gentle but puzzled.

"Good afternoon, Ms. Swift," the woman began. "My name is Karen Daniels. I'm a social worker with Kansas City Child Protective Services. May we come in?"

Taylor's heart skipped a beat. Social workers didn't typically show up unannounced unless it was something serious. "Of course," she said, stepping aside to let them in. "Please, come in."

Karen led the little girl into the living room, and Taylor followed, her mind racing with questions. Once they were seated, Taylor offered them some water, which Karen politely declined.

"What's going on?" Taylor asked, her voice filled with concern.

Karen looked at Taylor with a serious expression. "Ms. Swift, I need to speak with both you and Mr. Kelce. It's about his daughter, Avery."

Taylor felt a jolt of shock. Travis had never mentioned having a daughter named Avery. "Travis isn't here right now," she said, trying to keep her voice steady. "He's at the team hotel preparing for tomorrow's game. But I can call him."

Karen nodded. "That would be best."

Taylor quickly dialed Travis's number, her fingers trembling slightly. It rang a few times before he answered.

"Hey babe, what's up?" Travis's cheerful voice came through the line.

"Travis, you need to come home right now," Taylor said, her voice urgent. "It's an emergency."

There was a pause on the other end, and she could almost hear Travis's concern. "I'll be there as soon as I can," he replied. "Hang tight."

Fifteen minutes later, the door opened, and Travis hurried in, his face a mixture of worry and confusion. He immediately spotted the social worker and the little girl sitting on the couch.

"What's going on?" he asked, looking from Taylor to Karen.

"Mr. Kelce," Karen began, standing up. "I'm Karen Daniels from Child Protective Services."
