It was the next morning, Alec had woken up and was surprised to see Fiore was already awake. She was writing in the notebook she always carried around. Alec then had the sudden realization that Fiore's notebook could have a lot of info he is looking for! It was genius. Though, he remembered how Fiore hated when Ashley and Lill read her notebook. Alec hesitated. He wanted so desperately to read her notebook and figure out what was going on in her life, but then again he didn't want to invade her privacy like that. Alec got up out of bed and went to the bathroom, Fiore didn't look up or even acknowledge Alec. She continued writing. Alec eventually got out of the bathroom and walked up to Fiore. She look up at him.
"What do you want?" She asked.
"Would you like to go to breakfast together?" He asked.
"Whatever." She set her notebook down and stood up. They both walked out of their room and into the cafeteria.

As Fiore and Alec got their food Fiore seemed to notice that every single person that hated her was there. Just great. She sat down with Alec and tried to avoid looking at anyone there. She ate her food quickly and stood up.
"I'm done, Alec. I'll see you later, I'm going back to our room." She said, quickly hurrying away before Alec could protest.

Alec watched as Fiore walked off, he quickly went back to eating before Connor approached him. He looked surprised to see him, forgetting he willingly left the competition.
"Hey Alec. I heard you have to share a room with Fiore." He said. Alec nodded, still eating. "Must be rough, huh." Connor chuckled. Alec gently shook his head.
"She's surprisingly easy to deal with. At least right now she is." He explained. Connor looked intrigued. Alec didn't want to share what had been going on with Fiore. Connor was waiting for a reply while Alec finished his food. "Sorry, Connor. I'd love to tell you more but there's something I have to do." He explained. Connor nodded, waving slightly to Alec. Alec waved back and walked back to his room. He opened the door to see Fiore writing, not surprising.
"Fiore?" Alec called. Fiore looked up at him.
"What?" She asked. Alec sighed before he spoke again.
"Are you tired?" He glanced at her face, noticing what appeared to be bags under her eyes. He was concerned for her. Fiore sighed.
"No, Alec. I'm not tired. Why do you care anyway? Quit acting like you're my dad and fuck off for once." Fiore said, frustration in her tone. Alec was taken aback by this. He didn't expect this from her. But, what did he expect? He thought back to season one. The way she was acting now all made sense to him when he thought about it. He sighed and walked away.

. . .

Fiore had finally tucked into bed. Alec stood up, walking towards the nightstand. He slowly opened the door, being as quiet as he could be. Bingo! Fiore's notebook. He hesitated, but eventually decided to grab it. He sat back down, opening the notebook. He looked through the first few pages, occasionally chuckling about what she wrote during season one. Those were the good days. Alec smiled gently. He remembered the two of them working together. He kept skimming through, until he found the most recent pages. His smile from before quickly faded.
"Alec keeps seeing me cry. Why did I have to get stuck with a roommate!? Can't I just do my own shit in peace!? All I wanted was some peace before I have to go back to my parents house. Oh shit. I forgot I snuck out of the god awful catholic school. I'm sure my parents won't wanna deal with my shit anymore. I might as well get packing now. No way they're letting me stay any longer. The streets it is. Fuck." Alec was shocked, at a loss for words. He swiftly got back up and put her notebook back where it was before. He just kept rereading the words in his head. What did she mean? The more he thought about it, the more his concerns grew. He decided to sleep on it. The thought was giving him a headache. Alec got ready for bed, and tucked in. The words still racing in his mind. He closed his eyes and before he knew it, he was asleep.
