Part 7 ~ More than just an 'Evil Kid'

Fiore was more than just an evil kid. The more Alec heard her story, the more he realized that. She was just traumatized. She didn't know how to deal with her emotions, she's only eight years old. She only knows what she's learned. What she's learned from her awful parents. She didn't mean to be rude. It was just what she heard at home. Poor kid. The more he learned, the more he realized how sad her life actually was. She didn't like to openly talk about it, but he could tell. The way she acted, her body language, the things she wrote. He read a few books on child psychology before. He knew. He wanted to save her so bad. But how? There was no reasonable way he could. All he could do for now was be there to comfort her. It hurt him every time she flinched when he tried to give her a high five. He couldn't imagine the pain she went through at home. And after All Stars is over, he knows she's going to have to deal with more. Ten more years until she can legally move out. Alec's only hope is that she can still be there by the time she can move out.
