Hi everyone,

I just wanted to do a little update, here and ask a few questions of what you guys think would be the best next steps for Burnt Lies.

I am currently in the process of finishing off the series with Another's Demise the third and final book in the trilogy but it is taking much more time than the other two did. Severed Ties and Burnt Lies came to me naturally, they fit and worked together but with ending a series like this, that has given me an audience that is really invested in where these characters are going I want to do it justice. I want to end it in way that is satisfying with twists and turns that will take a lot more time.

But I don't want to leave you guys up in the air. So I have a few suggestions.

I am thinking of writing a spinoff novel that is Mel and Leo's story, name to be confirmed, but I wanted to know whether that was something people would be interested in?

I didn't want to just start writing a spinoff that no one really wanted. But I love the world and characters I have created and still want to have them in stories that aren't the 'big finish' as Another's Demise has been quite a pressure built book, and I know in some ways how I want to end it but as I said that will take time.

There is also the thing of the paperback, would you guys like a paperback? I remember writing about how I was working on it, but with University that kind of just remained on the shelf but it's still there, with updated chapters to about halfway through the book and was going to have some extra content. Is that something you guys would like? I would probably publish it under a pseudonym that I would tell you guys as if you didn't know I am publishing my fantasy debut later this summer, a project that has been largely off of Wattpad, but could not have happened without me gaining the confidence in writing from here. Let me know if you would like to hear more about it. Burnt Lies would be under a pseudonym because it doesn't quite fit the genre of writing I am aiming for, but I still love the story and would like people to have a physical copy.

So main questions, yay or nay on the spinoff, and do you want a paperback, or hardback of Burnt Lies?

Love you guys always,

Nadira
