It's mine and Leah's anniversary and we're excited. I don't know what Leah has planned but she has told me to wear white and a dress.
She's not taking me out till 5pm so I have the whole day to relax. I pull on leggings, a blue top and vans. I put my hair into a bun and yawn. I clean up and Leah walks over to me. "I just have to get something, be back soon" said Leah, kissing me. "Ok, love you" I said. "Love you" said Leah, kissing me again.
She leaves and I get my cleaning done. Once I finish I go find the ring box I hid. I find it and smile. I open it and smile. I grab the bag I'm bringing and place it on the inside. I smile and look at the time. I go pull off my outfit and have a shower. Once I step out, I dry myself and pull on my underwear. I pull on a robe and sit at my mirror. I do light make up and then smile.
I curl my hair and smile. I pull on my dress and white heels. I spin and smile. I hear the door open and I head downstairs. Wow. "Your dressed?" I ask. "Yeah, I popped into Lia's to get ready" said Leah, smiling.

"Wow Leah you know I love you in suits" I said, walking over to kiss her. "Mmmm I know. You look amazing" said Leah, kissing me. "I love you" I said. We step out and Leah locks up. She leads me to an Uber and we get in. Once we arrive at the restaurant, we head inside and we get out table.
"I can't believe it's been a year" said Leah, smiling. "Same." I said. "Has Keira messaged you?" asked Leah. "No, Lucy has. Lucy is trying to get Keira to see sense still" I said, looking in Leah's eyes. "I hope it works. She's my best friend but I can't believe she'd do something like that. I hope she can move past it because it's not fair on you" said Leah. "Lee, I've moved past that. If it wasn't for Keira cheating, I may have stayed with her and then meet you and I'd be the one to cheat" I said, looking in her eyes.
"What do you mean?" asked Leah. "We were meant to meet and fall in love, I don't like cheating so I would've ended up doing it because of you" I said. Leah blushes. "I love you, Ellie. You have changed my life for the best" said Leah. "I love you too" I said, smiling.
We enjoy our meal before going for a walk. We walk to this fountain and Leah smiles. We smile and we look at the water. I turn to say something to Leah when she's down on one knee.
"Eleanor Nova Parker, when I kicked the ball at you during our match, I done it on purpose to speak to you and then we shared a room at England camp I knew it was fate. Our friendship was pure and fun and I found myself falling in love with you. You make me happy, loved and full of joy. So, Eleanor will you marry me?" asked Leah, opening the box.

I tear up. "YES!" I shout, she slides the ring on and stands up. She kisses me and then I get on one knee.
"Leah Catherine Williamson you have made me so happy since we met. I found true love again and you took the question from me. So, Lee, will you marry me?" I ask, opening the ring box.

"YES!" shouted Leah, smiling. I slide the ring on and I stand up to kiss her. We get an Uber home and go inside. We celebrate the engagement in the only way possible. We fall asleep cuddled afterwards.
