1.23: Day before the UWCL Final

SKIP TO UWCL: MAY 24TH

Tomorrow is the day we play Lyon in the UWCL final. I'm nervous. We won the FA Cup against Spurs a whopping 3-0 and won the WSL too. So, now we just have the UWCL Final. To try to finally get the trophy we've wanted for so long.

I wake up in the hotel room me and Erin are sharing to Erin poking me. "Hurry up. We have breakfast and then have training" said Erin, smiling. "I'm up" I said, I go pull on my training gear and head to the restaurant with Erin.

We sit at a table with Millie, Guro and Sam. "You sleep good?" asked Guro, taking a sip of her coffee. "Yeah, just a bit nervous" I said. "It's ok to be nervous" said Millie, smiling. "I know" I said. I finish my porridge and toast.

We head to the bus to drive to drive to where we are training. Emma smiles once we arrive. "Right, let's begin" said Emma. We get our boots on and head to the pitch. We go through drills, the game plan and then by lunch time, we're pretty much perfected it.

Lunch was a quiet affair considering we are all concentrating on eating. Once we finish, we head to the gym and do some work outs. Once we finish, we head back to the bus. Once we get back to the hotel, we have showers and get dressed. I smile and pull on shorts and a white t-shirt and tie the front of it up to make cropped. I pull on my runners and put my hair into a braid.

"Ok, Leah is meeting me. Want to come?" I ask. "And be a third wheel?" asked Erin. "Well, you can take someone too" I said. "Ok, let me just text Sam Kerr" said Erin. I wait and Erin smiles. "Sam's on her way" said Erin. We grab our bags and step outside. Sam walks up.

"Where we going?" asked Sam. "Meeting Leah and I think Lia will be joining" I said, smiling. "Ok" said Sam. We step outside the hotel and Leah spots me. She walks over with Lia and kisses me. "Hey! How was training?" asked Leah. "Fun, we've perfected the plan" I said, kissing her. "Hmmmm, that's good" said Leah, kissing me again.

We walked around and then find a place to have dinner. We sit down and Leah smiles. "You must be excited for a bit of a break" said Lia. "Not really, we will have a few days off before hitting up our national teams" said Erin, smiling. Leah glances at me. "Oh shit, internationals are literally soon" said Leah. "Yeah, it's gonna be tough having to go to camp after this" I said, nodding.

"You don't have to come on the first day?" asked Leah. "No, but I will be. I got the call and I'm excited plus I talked it over with Sarina, I'll be doing recovery" I said, smiling. "Ok, I just don't want an injury happening" said Leah, placing her hand on my leg.

"I'll be fine, Lee" I said, kissing her cheek. We enjoy our dinner before they walk us back to the hotel. "Lee? You wearing my jersey tomorrow?" I ask, smirking. "Babe, I love you but no. I'll wear a blue bracelet or jacket" said Leah, pulling me in. "Ok, fine" I said, smiling. We share a kiss before I head inside with Sam and Erin.

We head to the game room and settle down. "How's Leah?" asked Millie, flopping down beside me. "Good. Not wearing a Chelsea jersey but eh" I said. Millie laughs and pushes me. We watch some random movie before we go to bed at 9pm.

I change and lie in bed. "Tomorrow we will do it" I said. "We will" said Erin, nodding. I smile and turn off the lights. I fall asleep almost instantly.

And it's time for the UWCL final!
