LLOYD'S POV
It was Kai. He was standing in between Cole and Jay. Cole seemed super serious, while Jay seriously seemed to be questioning his life choices. I wonder why. Probably because Kai explained his dumb plan to them and Jay was deciding whether to object.
"Not so fast?!" Jay scolded. "How many times have I told you not to use that anymore?!"
"Jay, not the time," Kai whispered. Jay rolled his eyes but turned his gaze back to Kalmaar.
"Long time no see, purple squid," Jay smiled, edging closer to Kalmaar and holding his hand out for him to shake. Then, a look of realization washed over his face as he pulled his hand back. "Oops, sorry. I forgot you can't shake my hand. Unless, you can use one of your tentacles?"
Cole and Kai seemed to be trying to stifle their laughter, but it clearly wasn't working. Kalmaar glared at Jay but turned back to Nya.
"Girl, I don't know what is wrong with your friend here. Have you ever tried to knock some sense into him?" Kalmaar asked innocently. Nya smiled and gave Kalmaar a swift nod. I laughed.
"Hey! I'm not that annoying," Jay shot back. He pulled out his nunchucks and gave Kalmaar a whack in the head. The squid yelped and growled, advancing on Jay. Jay tried to punch him in the face, but Kalmaar grabbed his fist before he could do so. Kalmaar spun the lightning ninja in a full 360 degree circle and let go of him, sending him flying over a very tall building.
Kai and Cole gasped. "Uh, what are the chances he survived that?" Kai asked, looking concerned.
"9.56456666666 percent," Zane answered. "Close to ten."
"Guys... what if Jay is dead?" I asked, my voice shaky.
Kai and Cole's eyes widened. Same goes for Nya and Zane. And me.
