University is tough where i come from. It could be easy if you go to those uptight ones where all the rich kids go or where those students go who don't have grades over 60%
But mee, oh well I'm a goodie-two-shoes who had high achievements all my life and when I completed my grade 12th I got 88% that made my family proud. And families that feel proud of their babygirl try their best to find some next target aka university to be conquered. I just had my results for the last semester of university and I passed in every subject (no shocker) but those four years in that place was a worse than a roller coaster.
This story won't be dolled up... I'll keep it real without shame because I just want to say things we don't say.
Here it goes!
It's 2020 had an 18 year old Noor just went to a government owned, public sector university in the capital city of the country. She had been a science girl all her life with a lot of interest in biology but she didn't adopt it as a major in university due to a teacher in 12th grade (a story for later) And guys a princess in a public sector university is Just something to gossip over.
Why I went there ? Well simple answer. Among all the greatest universities this university had the 2nd highest ranking in economics in the country.
Why not first ranking university you might ask. And the answer is failed their entry test.
But here, at QAU I just got in as I applied. And this all is a story about QAU and my four years here involving a boy, a psychotic friend, a nice girly friend and some more minions.
Stay tuned coz I got a lot coming.
