As we stepped in 2022, I began to be very agitated with everything.

I knew I was starting to have some kind of..... feelings don't seem the right word this far along  in the story.

I was getting an idea or notion that I might be getting too attach to Haider.

Around December we talked almost everyday on chat. I had chatted with Maham and Amal but not like this. Not for hours.

It's safe to say that I have the same texting style as him because I learned it from him.

Noor: What you doing?

Haider: I'm playing badminton.

Noor: cool! I wish I could play as well but I can't. Weak eyesight.

Haider: we'll play tomorrow I'm uni. I'll help you.

Noor: okkaayyyy🌸

I thought he'll drop the topic or forget it but the next day he got everything and we went to play in the court at uni.

"Amal you and Haider should play." I said.

"No, you first Noor," Amal said. "He got it for you."

I weird thing happened in my stomach.

I stood in position but I couldn't play as the shuttle was too fast for me to see. I gave the racket to Amal eventually. Both of them had an amazing game.

"Did you buy new shuttles ?" Amal asked.

"Yes, the ones with witch my friends were playing last night was in bad shape. So I got new ones from the shop last night."

"We were talking till 1 AM, you got them after that?" I asked.

"Yes, why?" He said like it meant nothing.

"You went to get shuttle for me after midnight in December, on foot, leaving your cozy bed so that I can play ?" I said.

He smiled with a hint of embarrassment. " Yes, because you said you'd like to play and you help me out so much. This was nothing compare to that Noor."

My heart was being weird again. No one will do such a thing for me.

"And I'll try that I play with you often so that you can get better at it. Your eyesight isn't a hurdle Noor. You can do anything." He said.

Wow!

I gave him a smile.

I could not get rid of his act for days and in that process we entered 2022. In the first week we had this presentation for a course.

We were 4 girls.

Maham didn't give presentation that week, she was sick.  She said I'll submit an assignment instead.

"Guys can I join your group?" Haider asked Amal and me. "I don't know anyone here except Ahsan and he's already in a group."

Amal gave me a look I understood.

"Let me ask others." I replied.

They had no problem but I on the other hand felt the more close I'm to him, the more I'll have ideas about what's going on or what I want it to be.

It was too cold and it was raining everyday I remember. My mood just felt so not good. I didn't want to do the presentation. I don't function well in a forced environment. I just wanted it to get over.

The day we had our presentation it was raining cats and dogs and the electricity was gone too. It was awfully gloomy. Everyone was tensed about it.

"I gaye this." I said annoyed.
