Deadly Love

Drool is not what I signed up for.

My mother preps a bag and leads me to a door in the middle of the night. "Look, we have to get you through this door before your friends wake up or they won't let me let you go. There are three blades in here and three poisonous dangers. I also packed a week's worth of supply but try to make it back sooner okay." She sounds frightened by what's behind this door. "Mom where am I going?" I ask her and she looks me in the face. "Kitum cave." You will run into creatures that will stalk you during the night and ones that will hunt you during the day they are dangerous and can't be seen by a human eye. Most people think others were miles by lions or hyenas these are worse. They look like a lion but two times its size. They are black all over their body and their speed matches a vampire. They are Nemean Greek god's protectors or killers. They don't have wings like people think they do it's just their speed you need to be careful with okay? I don't know what exactly you will be looking for and I hope it finds you before anything else does. "What are you doing?" Damian's sleepy voice comes from behind me. My mother opens the door and I jump in. She closes the door and locks it. I can hear him yelling at her but then it fades.

I'm in a dark cave and there is water dripping in the distance I make a spot with five large rocks this way I know where the entrance is to get back. I hear a roar echo in the cave and decide to hide behind a rock large enough to cover me. I peer from the side of the rock and can see a large lion coming in. It looks injured. I wait to see if anything else comes in after it to finish the job. Nothing comes in for several minutes and I decide to put my bag down and make my way toward it. It's a female lion and she tries to get up to charge me but she can barely move. Her body slams back down into the ground. Her breathing is slowing which means I have five minutes or less to hear her before she dies. I put my hands on her as she gave me a warning growl to back away. I don't let her intimate me. I reach deep into my soul and start to heal her. Her breathing picks up and she gets up and looks at me. This might have been the worst idea healing something that can easily kill me. She walks up to me and rubs against my body. Her fear is kind of like a broom and she smells like she needs a bath but I can handle this loving. little roars come from deep in the cave and three cubs walk up to me. They start to claw at my clothing and use their teeth on my sleeves. "Hey don't do that I need these," I say in a playful voice a roar comes from outside the cave and the mother gets up fast. She guides her young back to the hiding spot and in comes the largest freakin tiger thing I have ever seen. The lion stands in front of me willing to take this thing on and as the paw swipes down to know her out of the way I use my shield to block it. The hit is so hard my knees hit the ground. It looks at me and then it bows down to me. The mother lion looks at me and her eyes are yellow. she rubs against me again and walks away. It's as if she knows this thing and I have a business deal or something. 

The tiger thing waits for me to do something. I don't know what it wants and it growls at me. and moves its head over its shoulder. "Oh, okay you want me to get on you. olkay cools. Don't eat me okay." As I'm walking over to get up on it. this thing extends its arms and helps move me over its shoulder and onto its back IT gets up and starts to run out of the cave. I almost fall off and latch on the it. She brings me to a deeper part of what looks like a hidden forest. She makes a chirping sound and then I hear twigs break. There is another smaller tiger thing. I look into its eyes and see that it is a he and he has a blue and green eye. "So you're the one calling to me." He comes up and you think I should be terrified but I am not. Our souls know each other very well. He walks up makes his chin go over my shoulder and pulls me in. "Now that wasn't so hard finding you was it," I say to him. There is a different roar in the distance, and all of a sudden the bigger tiger is rushing us to go. I try running but he isn't having This one paw grabs me and pushes me up on his back. we run back to the cave and where the entrance is. I grab my backpack and wait for the portable to be opened. There is another roar closer outside the cave. I swing around ready fro battle when I'm pulled in and My new fur friend comes right in with me. HE growls and knocks Damian on his ass. He stands in front of me ready to kill these people who just by chance are my friends. I stand in front of him and raise my hands, "these are friends, not a threat." I turn around to hug them to show him they are friends. HE starts to purr and rubs himself against them. "He is making us with his scent," Feyes says scratching his head. "What the fuck is that, sound the alarm there's a." My mother breaks off when she sees me. "That was fast normally it takes weeks to find or travel through these woods how did you find it some fast and what is it?" "Umm, I don't know what he is but he isn't even the largest size yet." 

"Yet," all my friends say.

"He barely fits in this hallway with us," Clarissa says.

"Yeah imagine him the size of a two-story house possibly bigger," I say

"Fucking bigger than a two-story house," Damian says

"Where are we going to keep him." My mother says

"Well, he isn't full term yet. we need to hide him and help him become nourished and be ready. I have the feeling his parent was dying and she couldn't protect him anymore. so he called for me to help him." I tell everyone.

"We take him to my world. he will have everything he needs there. I promise Nubia he will be in good hands." Feya suggests.

I look at her and back at him. I don't want him to die before he even gets a chance to live. I agree with what Feya says. I tried soul communication with him and to my surprise he can talk to one another. "Hi, I'm Nubia. I am your guardian and I'm going to let my friend take you so you are protected, you need to trust her and please don't eat anyone. I tell him and he responds."Hi, Nubia it's so nice to finally meet you I am Atlas. I am actually your soul guardian. I was made to protect you. I will trust your friend but we will be able to speak to one another even across galaxies please make sure you check in. I also won't eat anyone but I can make any promises on their bigger animals. His voice is like a little kid's voice and I smile. "okay he trusts you and he promises not to eat you guys but he can't make promises on the larger animals." I tell Feya. "oh boy do I have an animal you can eat they are pests and destroy our lands. there's trillions of them." As we walk to Feyas portal I feel sad because I only got him back and I also met my soul guardian and now I have to say by to both. We all hug Feya bye and I walk over to Atlas and hug him super tight. I know we just met but I miss his soul already. They walk into the darkness and my mother closes the door. I suck back my tears and am getting ready to tell them to let go and fight at the mats. when the alarms start to go off. We all run to the cameras and see my dad hanging on to Yessica and I'm afraid he might be on the edge of death.
