"Perimeter's clear. Moving in." Jughead says over the radio and me and him lead our team into the building and we gesture to them to secure the room as we walk into one silently and then I see a laser beam on the back of Sweet Pea's head.
"Sweet Pea, duck!" Jughead and me exclaim and he moves his head.
"Bang, bang! All three of you dead. Always check your six, Deputies." Keller tells us as the lights to the school turn on.
"It's a deadly mistake." FP tells us as he walks over.
"This is just a simulation, but you don't get any do-overs on the street." Keller tells us.
"Which makes it all the more obvious that you boys aren't ready for them." FP tells us.
"Boys?" I ask him and FP looks over at me.
"My bad sorry. I meant boys and Quinn. You wanna stop the rouge Gargoyles? Work as a team. Till you've proven you can do that; I'm not letting you out there. Do it again. Let's go, Jug." FP tells us as we all slowly walk back to our starting positions. *** "If you cross over this way, here you will find two of our more artistic members expressing themselves. Hi, Megan. Hi, Garrett." Kevin tells us as we follow him in the tour of the Farm.
"Hi." Megan tells him.
"At the Farm, we like to nurture everyone's unique talents." Kevin tells us.
"It's like Hockney meets Heaven's gate." Veronica tells me and Betty as we follow Kevin.
"Now, would anyone like to guess what this room's used for?" Kevin asks as we stop.
"Ritualistic drownings?" Betty tells us softly.
"Sorry, Betty. I didn't hear you." Kevin tells her.
"Hey, what's behind there?" Betty asks as she points to a door with the numbers 317 on it.
"That is just the janitor's closet. Now, if everyone will follow me, I'll show you the garden." Kevin tells us and then walks past me, Veronica and Betty and then the doors open and Alice walks out wearing an all-white outfit.
"Betty!" Alice exclaims.
"Mom. Go ahead, Vee, Q. I'll catch up with you guys in a bit." Betty tells us and me, and Veronica follow after the group leaving Betty with her mom. *** "Damn it, Hiram!" Mom exclaims as she hangs up the phone and then storms away as me and Veronica walks into the Pembrooke.
"Mom." Veronica calls out as we walk towards her, and she turns around to face us.
"Your father is finally opening that damn prison of his. There's going to be a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Governor Dooley in attendance. And he has very selfishly decided that I, the mayor, am not invited." Mom tells us.
"Well, you did try to kill him, twice." Veronica tells her.
"Mom, don't spiral it's just pictures." I tell her.
