ESSENCE MARIE DEVORE (COMMENT & VOTE)
Essence woke up completely discombobulated. Her breathing was hitched and her body felt exhausted. This was a pain like no other, why couldn't she just die? This shit was not worth the hype at all bro.
The hospital was busy and not on high alert. Everyone was so focused on their tasks and whispering amongst each other. Most of the noise came solely from the wheels of the food carts being moved from room to room.
" I see you up and active," The attending nurse said with her back turned to Essence.
Essence didn't feel like talking. Especially not to this bitch helping save her when she wanted to die. Like wtf.
" You're grumpy," The attending nurse said in a slightly annoyed tone after walking to the door and shutting it.
Essence lay there still not caring what the nurse had on her agenda. She figured maybe the nurse wanted to give her privacy.
The attending nurse approached Essence again this time not with her back to her.
She had a mask on but Essence quickly became aware of who it was. Shed never thought this would happen again. She felt so secure in her home and here she was again all because of her fucking up.
She never could just be happy, and the reason why was standing right in front of her.
"Hey Essence," Zamora's twin sister said mockingly.
Essence didn't let out a peep. This fear she had always kept deep down was now boiling into hatred.
Hearing her say her name as if everything was calm cool and collective made her wanna crash out. She might've been a little woozy from the pills but she was gone turn this bitch every way but loose promise pinky.
"I don't even know why you try." Essence said before fiddling with her IV.
"I go to war about mines." Zamora's twin sister said approaching closer to the bed.
"Yours? Yours? Ho Please." Essence said rolling her eyes and then rolling over on her side to get her beauty sleep.
"Yea you gone be real tired soon," Zamora's twin sister said adding an unknown dose into Essences IV.
"Leave me alone." Essence said before getting dizzy.
She could almost feel her heartbeat in every part of her body. She was hallucinating in and out before she finally just knocked out cold.
