Sophia woke up with a light hanging above her silhouette. Her hands, along with her legs, were tied to the wooden chair. The room's walls were painted black, and a strange smell was in the air. The lightbulb above her was moving around, lighting her face here and there. Sophia started looking around, scared and moving uncontrollably, believing she may free herself. The ropes were tight, and her wrists were already red and bruised. Some tears started rolling down her pale cheeks, her mascara destroying her beautiful characteristics with its black colour. It was the first time she felt so threatened in her life, and her heart was pounding that loud. Some steps could be heard; they stopped outside the dark door in the room entrance. Sophia silently prayed it was Felix, even if it would be difficult. The door opened, Damon was standing in the darkness. He walked into the room with his arms behind his back and a smile on his face. James was behind him; he closed the door and leaned on the wall with his foot against it. He crossed his arms and looked at Damon, who was glaring at Sophia.

"Wakey, wakey darling."

"W-Where am I!?"

Sophia started panicking, panting, and ready to faint again. James chuckled and rolled his eyes, receiving a look from Damon.

"Some kind of basement. I am not going to hurt you, Sophia."

She stayed silent while sobbing, thinking Damon will kill her because of her husband.

"I did nothing to you...!"

"It doesn't have to do with you but with your husband. I told him to stay away, but why would a "nice guy" like him keep himself behind, hu?"

"Felix will find me and save me, you damn junkie!"

Sophia tried to appear angry and robust, leaning towards Damon; the only thing she managed to do was make both Damon and James have a fit of laughter. Damon mocked her, saying before "wiping away" his fake tears.

"Where did you learn that word, Sophia!? Me? A junkie?"

"You could say like husband like wife, hu?"

James added with a grin as Damon nodded, still laughing. Sophia didn't find anything funny at all. She kept struggling under the door opened again, a woman stepping into the room this time with crossed arms and a frown.

"So this was your big plan, brother? Kidnapping his wife?"

"Oh, c'mon, it's kinda genius, don't you think?"

"Whatever."

Deetra chuckled and stayed beside her sibling, staring at the woman with hate. Sophia understood who the woman is by the word "brother". She felt awkward and embarrassed as she was watching her closely.

"Your husband is the reason my boyfriend returned home half-dead with marks from burning cigarettes, whore."

"W-What.... Felix n-never did something like t-that to whoever your partner is!"

"I am her boyfriend, and I can show you if you want."

Sophia didn't answer back; she was glaring down. James unbuttoned and took off his shirt; her eyes widened in terror. James' arms and chest were covered in tiny marks; her eyes got tearier in seconds, understanding who he was. Sophia knew that her husband had got James, and she had asked him if he hurt him in any way. Felix had answered that he hadn't touched him at all, only had a conversation together. He had clearly lied, but there was no way to prove it until now.

"T-There's no way h-he...."

Her skin turned paler than before, and she had stopped struggling here and a few minutes. Maybe because there was a new thought in her brain, an idea saying that Felix won't rescue her and leave her to rot. That couldn't be true, Felix loved her with all his heart, or that's what she thought and hoped
