Chapter 3: Dinner with Trisha and Fern

Fern and Trisha told me that their parents agreed with the invite and they will go to the dinner as well.I was so excited for Saturday that I wanted it to be night time already.

Saturday night came and mom started setting the table with foods , plates, utensils.I wore my red flowered dress and my white shoes.

Ding-dong,I heard the doorbell ring and I quickly ran downstairs and opened the door.I greeted Trisha's and Fern's parents and I pulled Trisha and Fern upstairs to my room.

We played in my room until my mom called us for dinner.We raced to the dining room and luckily I came first and Fern came last.We ate wildly because mom's steak was one of mom's specialty.

After the delicious dinner Fern and Trish needed to getvback to their houses.My mom told their parents that they can visit anytime they like they will just call mom and mom gave them her cellphone number.I said goodbye to my friends and their parents thanked us for the wonderful meal.

Ugh Monday!,I hate monday. Mom woke me very early and it would be difficult for me to wake up early in the morning because I am not a morning person."Wake up Kira we have pancakes for breakfast",mom told me.As I heard the word PANCAKES I immediately got up from bed and rushed down the stairs and ate my breakfast which is PANCAKES.

I was late for class (as usual) and I sat on my seat feeling ashamed that I was late again my teacher just ignored me because she told me to not be late repeatedly."Psssst Kira" Trisha called me from her place "what?"I replied,"My mom invited you and Fern for a sleepover at Friday can you come?"Trisha asked,"I'll ask mom"I whispered back.

When I got home from school I asked mom if I could go to a sleepover with Trish and Fern at Trisha's house at Friday my mom told me that she would think about it because aunt' b-day party will be on thursday or Friday I replied ok because I also wanted to go to aunt's b-day party and my cousin \best friend Lisa is gonna be there.
