Yunho's eyes slowly adjusted to the blinding sunlight as he stepped out of the dimly lit cell he had been confined to for the past 240 days. His heart raced with anticipation and anxiety as he took his first steps into the outside world. The harsh reality of his situation hit him like a ton of bricks – he was a prisoner in his own body, a slave to his addiction.
As Yunho blinked rapidly, trying to focus on his surroundings, he realized that he was standing in the middle of a lush green field, surrounded by tall trees and chirping birds. The fresh air filled his lungs, making him feel alive for the first time in what seemed like an eternity.
He closed his eyes and allowed the warmth of the sun to wash over him, soaking in every ray of light as if it were a precious gift. He could feel the tension slowly melting away from his muscles, replaced by a sense of calm and serenity. But as Yunho opened his eyes once again, the harsh reality of his situation came crashing down on him. He was here for a reason – to confront his demons, to break free from the shackles of his addiction.
Yunho took a deep breath and started walking, his footsteps echoing in the silence of the field. He couldn't shake the feeling of being watched, of being judged by unseen eyes. The weight of his past mistakes hung heavy on his shoulders, threatening to crush him under their unbearable burden.
As the guard led Yunho , he couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope stirring in his chest. Maybe, just maybe, this was finally the end of his nightmare.
The guard pushed open a heavy wooden door, and Yunho blinked in the sudden brightness of the room. He squinted as his eyes adjusted, and he saw a room full of people staring back at him.
"Welcome, Yunho, My name is Park Seonghwa" the man sitting on a high chair said, his voice booming. "You are finally free." Yunho looked closely at the man's features, he seemed like a hero.... unlike him.
Yunho's heart soared at those words. He had been dreaming of this moment for so long, but now that it was finally here, he felt a sense of disbelief wash over him.Seonghwa put his hand up and continued,
"But there is a catch. In order to fully redeem yourself and earn your freedom, you must work alongside our hero, Mingi."
Yunho's heart sank at the mention of Mingi. He had heard stories of the legendary hero, the one who had saved countless lives and brought down gangs with a single swing of his hand. He was revered by the people, feared by his enemies, and respected by all. The one who had almost killed him. But he sort of deserved it at that time.
Seonghwa's voice broke him out of his thoughts,
"You'll meet him tomorow. Right now, I'll suggest that you rest. The guard shall take you to a room where you can get ready. I'll send someone to tell you about all the rules here. And remember. Don't let go of this chance."
