"Hi Mingi-"
"Shut up. I want to make it clear that I have intention of being nice to you"
Yunho paused at Mingi's sudden reply. Wait... what?
"Umm sorry?"
"Yes , you heard me, Jeong Yunho.... or do you prefer Shadow"
Why are such handsome men so cruel?
"That's enough Mingi, you dont need to say anything more."
"Well, of course I dont- it's not like you all took my opinion of not letting him in anyways "
"Calm down. We are in middle of a meeting"
Seonghwa seemed to shut Mingi down , but he still kept eyeing Yunho
"While we talk to Mingi, how about you talk with others , Yunho"
Hongjoong and Seonghwa took Mingi to another room and Mingi explored the others, all of whom were looking at him.
He couldnt talk to Jongho as clearly Yeosang was protective of him and he already had an idea about Wooyoung
Out of all them , he immediately felt a sense of connection and warmth from San. San had a friendly smile and an easygoing demeanor that drew Yunho in.
"Hi San?"
"Oh hey Yunho! I hope that you make yourself comfy here :D"
As they got to talking, Yunho found himself drawn to San even more. They had similar interests and hobbies, and their conversations flowed effortlessly.
"STOPPP NO WAY YOU LISTEN TO ZEROBASEONE"
"OVI! WHO DOESNT???"
It wasn't long before Yunho decided to approach San and ask him if he wanted to hang out sometime.
"I have something to tell you," he said, his voice low and almost conspiratorial. Yunho raised an eyebrow, intrigued by the sudden change in demeanor.
"My powers," San continued, his eyes locking with Yunho's. "I can manipulate dreams.
Yunho's eyes widened in surprise. He had never heard of such a thing before. Is this legal? Wasn't this power suiting a villain better? "That's amazing," he exclaimed, his mind racing with possibilities.
"Can you control your own dreams as well?"
San nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "Yes, I can control my dreams and even enter other people's dreams if I choose to. It's a rare gift, but one that I have learned to harness over the years."
Yunho was impressed by San's powers, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder at the thought of exploring the realm of dreams with him. "That's incredible," he said, his voice filled with admiration. "I would love to learn more about this gift of yours.
"Well, I'm sure you'll get to know that soon. I wasn't sure of telling this to you, but I realised that we wont be be able to break the communication barrier , Mr Shadow"
Never in a million years had Yunho imagined someone calling him Shadow in such a loving way.
Yunho felt a surge of emotion at San's words. He had always been a bit of a loner, preferring to keep to himself rather than seek out new friendships. But with San, he felt a sense of belonging and connection that he had never experienced before.
"I'm glad we met ," Yunho replied, a smile spreading across his face. "I feel like we were meant to find each other, I mean both of our powers aren't 'heroic', yet we're heroes" San started laughing,
"WAIT WHAT??? NO WAYY STOPP HALF OF THE COUNCIL HAVE POWERS WORTH BIENG SUPERVILLIANS AND LIKE YOUR POWERS DONT DEFINE YOUR FUTURE DO THEY??? And also I'm glad you're referring to yourself as a hero. That's the first step."
Just then, San's expression turned serious again. "There's something else I need to tell you," he said, his voice tinged with sadness. "My partner, Wooyoung, has been trying to befriend you for a while now. He's a bit reserved, but he really admires you and wants to get to know you better."
"I had no idea," Yunho said, feeling a pang of guilt at his oversight. He had thought Wooyoung was simply weird "I will make sure to reach out to Wooyoung and thank him for his kindness. I appreciate his efforts to befriend me."
San smiled warmly at Yunho, a look of approval in his eyes. "I'm glad to hear that," he said. "Wooyoung is a special person, and I think you two would get along well. He has been my rock for the past three years, and I am grateful for his presence in my life."
Yunho nodded, a newfound respect for Wooyoung blossoming in his heart. He realized that he had been too quick to judge others based on his own assumptions, and he vowed to make an effort to be more open-minded and accepting in the future.
*DOOR OPENS*
As Seonghwa, Hongjoong, and Mingi entered the room, Mingi's expression was a clear indication that he was not happy about something. He was pouting, arms crossed over his chest as he glared at Yunho, who was standing on the other side of the room with a neutral expression on his face.
"Alright, listen up," Seonghwa began, his authoritative voice cutting through the tension in the room. "Yunho, Mingi, I've noticed that there IS some tension between the two of you lately. As superheroes, it is crucial that we work together as a team. On top of that, you will be under Mingi's guidance-So, for the next hour, I am putting the two of you in this room to talk things out and try to overcome your differences."
Yunho nodded in agreement, while Mingi huffed and rolled his eyes.
Hongjoong then comes to Mingi,
"Well, before you go, I would like to make you aware of all the rules and regulations of this place and of you"
Hongjoong took out a piece of paper and begun to read
"1- You will never leave the buiding without either Mingi, or a signed application.
2- Do not move unessearily in this buiding
3- Never go in the rooms of other heroes, unless in practicing area or invited by them
4- You cannot decline any training or any mission you are given
5- Never disobey a hero
6- If you want to become a hero, you must become one morally too, and hense you will not say anything about Seonghwa using his powers to sense your emotions
7- Breaking of any of these rules will result in execution or return to jail
8- No third chance will be given, so take care of this one."
