Second day of school Illaria is not coming in because she has an" appointment"she totally did not have one she was just taking a day off
I walked into school nervous as usual my first class was like 6 stairs up I couldn't be bothered to climb all those stairs especially at 8am in the morning
I got in the elevator pressed my button and my biggest fear the elevator door wouldn't open I started to laugh in disbelief there was no way this was actually happening right now I don't know if I should touch the button again what if the elevator went up and got stuck in the middle of the walls I've seen way to May horror stories
It was like 2 minutes now and the door was still not opening then I started to PANIC I called Illaria she told me to call down and see if there are any like emergency speaking thingies I saw one but ofc it wasn't working and I couldn't hear Illaria on the phone anymore there was bad service
I started banging on the elevator door and that was when it was becoming real I started crying I had spent like 4 minutes in there
Ding the door started opening someone opened it from outside and of course it was zayan he just had to see me cry I just stared at him and walked off he had an expression on his face that I couldn't read
I went to the toilet as there were a handful full of people who noticed then I cried more in there and tried to calm myself down
There was no way I was going back to class and having to seat next to zayan and discuss the stupid project
But it was rainy outside and cold and it would take me at least 30 minutes to get home since there was an accident on the road
I just had to go to class I re did my makeup and went to class the professor came late because of the traffic so I don't have to walk into the class late
We were all waiting outside the class waiting for him I was still very anxious oh no I didn't thank zayan he opened the elevator I just walked off
He was standing alone I don't know if it was haram I was just telling him thank you that was the right thing
I couldn't muster up the courage 1,23 and I walked to him
"Uhm thank you for opening the elevator am so sorry and didn't mean to walk off so rudely"
What if he ignores you
What if he thinks your nose oooks ugly
What if he didn't even hear you
A million thoughts were running through my head
"Oh it's fine"
"Ok then"
That was so weirdddd I would never ever talk to a guy again he's eyes were like hazel but brown
Class started and thankfully there were free seats so i did not have to seat next to him the lecturer redid the group because people had made complaints due to religious issues I was so gladddd I didn't have to do it with him it would be so akward
Zayan must have told him that must mean he's on his Deen
Class finished I went home and told my parents evrything and ofc Illaria she laughed at my attempt to apologize to zayan typical I took a shower and started reading as long as the lemon tress grow everywhere was peaceful and clam I loved it after a very chaotic day
