Today was Saturday I've been studying so much for my final exams I needed break
My said she was going shopping so I decided to come with to help her carry bags and stuff she told me she was going to shop with a new freind she met in the masjid today
She came earlier then we both went to buy some gifts for my cousin because her wedding was in 2 weeks
Me and my mom were going to meet this new freind and it was Aya and her mom she was laughing so hard fate always kept bringing us together
She didn't even want to look at me did she like me too it was weird shopping with all three of them so I decided to go the masjid
I still kept thinking about Aya I couldn't get her out of my mind
"Son my son" the sheikh was talking to me
"Oh sorry Salam alaikum uncle"
"What are you thinking about it might be something sad or might be about a girl since your face has a hint of red" how did he know
"Go on tell me I've known you since you were a little boy"
"Well I like someone in uni her name is Aya and we keep meeting each other in random place and my mom knows her mom"
"Why do you like her"
"Because she is beautiful and she seems nice"
"My son the prophet Muhammad (saw) said Do not marry women for their beauty for it may lead to their doom"
"You need to know other characteristics by getting your parents to set up meetings for you guys to talk intended for marriage "
"How do I know I'm ready to get married"
"You will know when you're ready"
"But remember do not take too long as it my be already late"I gave him a hug and thanked him" he was like a father to me me and my dad didn't really get along .
I went to pick them up it seems they all had fun my mom said I should take a picture of them after we said our goodbyes and me and my mother went home
"Today was such fun and asmas (ayas mom) daughter is a very nice girl" she was giving me this look and I choked on my water
"You like her don't you I'm your mom I know everything about you"
"Maybe" she rolled her eyes at me I shouted stop denying your feelings it will only make it worse and time might runout
What did that mean the sheikh said it and now my mom did they mean that someone else could marry her
Okay I was going to pray istikhara after I prayed I stared at the sky for a bit I was bored so I decided to go for a walk
When I was back i went back to sleep
