As the car pulled up to the grand mansion in Seoul, Taehyung's eyes widened in awe at the breathtaking sight before him. The intricate decorations and beautiful surroundings left him speechless as he stepped out of the car, taking in every detail with wonder.

"Welcome back home, baby," Jeongguk's voice whispered in his ear as he wrapped his arms around Taehyung from behind. "Do you like it?" he asked, watching Taehyung's reaction with a smile.

"Home?" Taehyung questioned, still mesmerized by the beauty surrounding them. "Yes, baby, this is our home," Jeongguk confirmed, leading Taehyung inside hand in hand.

As they entered the mansion, Taehyung was even more stunned by its interior beauty. "You like it?" Jeongguk asked again as they walked through the halls. "Yeah, it's beautiful gguk," Taehyung replied softly, making Jeongguk's smile brighten.

"Thank you, baby. I love it when you call me gguk," Jeongguk said affectionately. "Now let's go shower," he suggested gently when Taehyung remained silent.

Leading Taehyung upstairs to his bedroom, Jeongguk opened the door to reveal a room that seemed unchanged - dark and mysterious yet elegant in black and white tones that felt like stepping into another world compared to the rest of the mansion.

"Shall we take a bath together?" Jeongguk teased playfully as he wrapped his arms around Taehyung's waist. Feeling his heart race at the intimate gesture, Taehyung lowered his gaze until Jeongguk lifted his chin to meet his eyes.

"You're very quiet baby; I don't want you to be like that," Jeongguk whispered softly. "I love you and don't worry about anything as long as I'm with you - just focus on me."

Nodding in response to Jeongguk's words of reassurance and affectionate gestures, Taehyung felt a sense of calm wash over him.

"Now go take a bath; then we'll grab some breakfast," Jeongguk said before jokingly asking if he should join him in the shower - only for Taehyung to quickly shut himself inside without answering while trying to clear his mind under cold water cascading down on him soothingly.

After showering, Taehyung emerged from the bathroom to find Jeongguk absent, but a set of oversized clothes laid out on the bed caught his attention.

Curious, he picked them up and returned to the bathroom to change into them. Once dressed, he made his way downstairs, where he discovered Jeongguk perched at the wet bar, leisurely sipping on a cold beer.

Jeongguk spotted Taehyung and beckoned him over with a nod. Taehyung approached, and Jeongguk tapped his lap, silently indicating for Taehyung to take a seat. Understanding the unspoken invitation, Taehyung settled himself comfortably onto Jeongguk's lap, resting his head against Jeongguk's shoulder.

With a relaxed gesture, Jeongguk continued to sip his beer, one hand casually encircling Taehyung's waist.

Taehyung remained silent.

"Do you want to drink?" Jeongguk asked softly, his voice laced.

Taehyung shook his head, his dark hair brushing his pale cheek as he did so.

"Are you hungry?" Jeongguk tried again, hoping to coax some response. Another silent shake of the head.

"I just want to rest," Taehyung mumbled, burying his face in Jeongguk's neck. The scent of his lavender shampoo mingled with the familiar warmth of his skin, a comforting balm to Jeongguk's troubled heart.
