Taehyung, now shocked, plopped down on the couch, too deep in thought to even utter a word. Jungkook also went silent for a moment, watching Taehyung.

"It's over, Taehyung. Both of them have taken revenge in their own ways. Now, you need to focus on your daughter," Jungkook said in a low tone as he went upstairs to his room, leaving Taehyung alone in the living room.

Next day

Jungkook woke up and went to the balcony of his bedroom, where he spotted Taehyung sitting on the swing. Jungkook stared at him for a moment before going downstairs and walking towards Taehyung in the garden.

"What are you doing here all alone?" Jungkook questioned. Taehyung looked at him and replied with a tight-lipped smile, "Just need some fresh air."

"Where's Lily?" Jungkook asked.

"She's sleeping," Taehyung replied, and Jungkook nodded, understanding.

He approached Taehyung and sat on the swing, which was gently swinging back and forth. For a while, they both sat there in silence, neither speaking a word.

Then Jungkook broke the silence, saying, "You know, I can't help but wonder how one night changed everything," as he looked straight ahead. Taehyung tilted his head, looking at Jungkook.

"If you hadn't been drinking that night, if you hadn't seen Jeongguk, if you hadn't mistaken him for me, then maybe our future would have been different," Jungkook spoke in a low tone.

Taehyung blinked while staring at Jungkook, who met his gaze.

"He stole you from me, and you agreed, and rather than feeling physical pain, it cuts me deep emotionally." Jungkook confessed. "I'm so hurt, but what else can we do now? I wish I had never met you in the first place,"Jungkook said, forcing a fake smile towards Taehyung.

"Tomorrow I'm going back to America. Take care of yourself and your daughter Lily. If fate allows it, we might meet again," Jungkook stated solemnly.

"Now, I don't want to come back here. There's nothing for me here anymore, neither my brother Jeongguk nor you as my love," Jungkook continued as he stood up and began to walk away.

"Jungkook," Taehyung called out, making Jungkook pause in his tracks.

Turning, Jungkook saw Taehyung approaching him.

"I know I have hurt you so much, and I don't deserve your forgiveness, but if you can, please try to forgive me," Taehyung said, tears filling his eyes as he looked up at Jungkook. Jungkook gazed into Taehyung's eyes.

"I can understand you, Tae," Jungkook said before pulling Taehyung for a hug. Taehyung cried softly, and Jungkook whispered, "Shh, it's okay," as he comforted the other.

The next day

Jungkook was at the airport with Taehyung and Lily, preparing for his flight to America. Taehyung sat with Lily on his lap, and Jungkook sat beside them, waiting for his boarding time.

As Taehyung looked around the bustling airport hall, he spotted Yoongi and Jimin walking towards them with their suitcases.

"Jungkook," Taehyung called, shaking Jungkook's arm to get his attention. Jungkook followed Taehyung's gaze and saw Yoongi and Jimin approaching. A smile lit up Jungkook's face as he recognized the Yoonmin couple.

"Finally, you guys are here," Jungkook said with a bright smile as he greeted Yoongi and Jimin.

"Hi, Taehyung," Jimin greeted playfully before turning his attention to little Lily. "Oh, she's so cute," Jimin cooed.

"Can I?" Jimin asked Taehyung, seeking permission to hold Lily. Taehyung nodded in approval, and Jimin carefully took Lily into his arms.

"You must be confused as to why we're here, right?" Jimin asked Taehyung. Taehyung nodded in response.

"Jungkook, you didn't tell him?" Yoongi questioned, prompting Jungkook to explain.

"Actually, they are also going to America with me. We booked our flights together yesterday," Jungkook explained, as Taehyung nodded in understanding.

"And you're not going?" Jimin questioned, surprised.

"No," Taehyung replied with a smile. Jimin returned the smile, looking at Lily before turning back to Taehyung.

"Please prioritize your well-being, Taehyung. If you'd like, you're more than welcome to join us." Jimin offered.

"No, I'm fine here," Taehyung replied in a low tone.

"We're really sorry to hear about what happened with Jeongguk. Jungkook explained everything to us," Jimin continued, sensing Taehyung's confusion.

Taehyung responded with a tight-lipped smile, not saying anything in return.

"Be safe, okay? We'll come to meet you in the future," Jimin said, handing Lily back to Taehyung as their flight time approached. They bid a final goodbye to Lily and Taehyung, sharing hugs.

Jungkook also hugged Taehyung and placed a kiss on his forehead, expressing that he still cared for Taehyung. He reassured Taehyung to be safe and not to worry about anything as they departed.

In the poignant moment of watching their plane take off, Taehyung's eyes welled up with tears as he stood at the big glass window.

The realization hit him that now he had no one left except his little daughter.

Clutching her close to his chest, tears streamed down his face as he grappled with the sense of loss and solitude.
