Months passed since Taehyung had given birth to a beautiful baby girl, Lily.

Jeongguk was overjoyed to see his daughter for the first time, tears welling up in his eyes as he held her in his arms. He couldn't believe how perfect she was, a tiny bundle of joy that he and Taehyung had created together.

As they left the hospital and returned home with their new baby, Jeongguk felt a sense of responsibility wash over him. He knew he had to change his ways if he wanted to be a good father to his daughter. So, he made the decision to leave his life as a mafia member behind, quitting drinking and smoking in the process. He wanted to be the best version of himself for his family.

One morning, Jeongguk woke up early and made his way to the balcony. He sat there, watching the world go by, but his thoughts were solely focused on his sleeping two babies.

Taehyung was curled up in bed, the baby nestled close to his chest, the image so peaceful it made his heart swell with love.

On the other hand, Taehyung found himself waking up to the sound of his daughter's cries. Rubbing his eyes sleepily, he glanced down at Lily, who was awake and crying, her tiny face scrunched up in discomfort.

Jeongguk entered the room with a soft smile on his lips, already knowing what had woken Taehyung from his peaceful slumber. "Waki waki my love, Lily is up," he murmured before disappearing into the bathroom to start his morning routine.

Taehyung sighed as he scooped Lily up in his arms, her cries growing louder as she squirmed in discomfort.

Making his way towards the bathroom where Jeongguk was brushing his teeth, Taehyung couldn't help but voice his frustration. "She cries every time she pees or poops. I'm tired of changing her diapers every single time."

Jeongguk chuckled softly as he rinsed out his mouth. "She's just like me when I was a baby. My mother used to say that I cried every time I needed a diaper change too."

"Really?" Taehyung raised an eyebrow in surprise.

Jeongguk nodded, reaching out to pat Lily's head gently. "Yes, really. It seems like she takes after me in more ways than one."

"May I ask where's your parents now?" Taehyung questioned softly, curiosity lacing his words as he looked at Jeongguk with a mixture of concern and compassion.

Jeongguk paused for a moment, his gaze falling to the floor before meeting Taehyung's once more. "I don't wanna talk about it," he began, voice steady despite the weight of his words. "I want to forget my past, but just know that they aren't anymore in this world. I'll explain everything to you one day."

Taehyung nodded understandingly, sensing the pain that lingered beneath Jeongguk's calm facade. He reached out a hand to gently squeeze Jeongguk's shoulder before turning his attention back to their daughter.

As Jeongguk sat on the bed next to his boyfriend Taehyung, admiring their newly born daughter sleeping peacefully in her crib, he felt an overwhelming sense of happiness and contentment. It had been a long journey for Jeongguk, from his days as a ruthless mafia member to finding love and starting a family with Taehyung.

However, Jeongguk's past was not something he could easily escape. As one of the most notorious members of the mafia, he had made many enemies along the way.

Some of the other gangs' mafia members were well aware of Jeongguk's past actions and were now planning to attack and harm him in retaliation for the torture and pain he had inflicted upon them.

At first, Jeongguk brushed off the threats, confident that he could handle any danger that came his way. But there was one mafia boss in particular who seemed to be more determined than the others to seek revenge.

This boss had a personal vendetta against Jeongguk, and his threats were becoming more frequent and menacing.

Jeongguk couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that settled in the pit of his stomach. It wasn't himself that he was worried about – he was willing to face any consequences for his past actions. But he couldn't bear the thought of anything happening to his precious daughter and Taehyung.

Jeongguk stood on the balcony, the city lights twinkling in the distance as he read the threatening message from a rival mafia boss.

His jaw clenched as he absorbed the words, his mind racing with thoughts of retaliation and protection. Just then, he heard Taehyung's voice calling out his name from inside.

"Jeongguk, come quick!" Taehyung's voice was urgent and filled with excitement. Jeongguk quickly tucked his phone into his pocket and rushed inside to see what was happening.

He entered the bedroom to find Taehyung sitting on the floor near the bed, his hands clenched together over his chest, his eyes shining with tears. Jeongguk's heart swelled with love and concern as he saw their daughter take her first wobbly step towards Taehyung.

Tears pricked at the corner of Taehyung's eyes as he whispered, "She's walking, Jeongguk. Our little princess is taking her first steps".

Jeongguk couldn't hold back the overwhelming wave of emotions as he wrapped his arms around Taehyung and their daughter, feeling like the luckiest man in the world to have them in his life.

As they watched their daughter take a few more shaky steps, Jeongguk's mind raced with thoughts of the uncertain future that lay ahead of them.

The threats from the rival mafia boss loomed like a dark cloud over their happiness, and Jeongguk knew he had to do something to protect his family.

As his mind was clouded with negative thoughts, he didn't realize he was staring at Taehyung, who was laughing and playing with their daughter. He unknowingly smiled, forgetting all those negative feelings, and was drawn into Taehyung's angelic face and presence.

"Baby, I want to marry you," he spoke suddenly, making Taehyung pause as he looked at Jeongguk with a surprised expression.

"and make you mine forever. I want to be the father of our children, to protect and cherish you for all eternity". He continued.

Tears spilled from Taehyung's eyes as he looked into Jeongguk's earnest gaze.

"Yes, Jeonggukie. Yes, I will marry you and be the mother of our children. I love you more than I can say."

When Jeongguk said he wanted to marry Taehyung, it made him feel so happy and relieved. He knew they would tackle any problems together, with their love and strength.
