Jake flipped to the last page of 'Gift of the blood moon' book glancing at it's words and phrases with a stern glare on what it's telling him.
"Your majesty." Heeseung greeted, the vampire lords entered his chambers as he was closing the book and placing it away in a chained cabinet.
"What summons your presence?" Jake looked at them, though his face was placed with a stern expression he was debating on his next actions with the knowledge he holds.
"Jaeyun stop the act will you? We know what father asked you to do that night." Jay snapped, but Sunghoon placed his hand on his shoulder shaking his head 'no' in attempt to calm him.
"And what do you know? Is it as simple as you think it is? Tell me!!" Jake raised his voice, them knowing isn't what's bothering him it's the realization of the weight that's on his shoulders right now.
"Sora is the wielder of the ruby moon stone isn't she?" Jungwon asked, to which Jake's brows furrowed in confusion.
"She is the wielder? but that's not possible she-" He though to himself taking a moment of silence.
"Zeller's Extortions, king Jinhun's final massage" Jungwon handed him the book, Jake looked at them all before going though the last and only massage on the book.
"This isn't possible!!" Jake threw the book across his room in rage.
Pieces of the puzzle with the answers. They were all now Infront of him and it was only making him hate the puzzle even more.
"Jaeyun what did father tell you to do with her?" Sunghoon pressured him to answer who's eyes had transformed into his vampire blood tinted eyes from his rage.
"I can't tell you-" Jake scoffed looking at the massive balcony in his room that overlooked the realm from the best view.
"His parents told him to marry me." Someone said from behind, who stood outside the opened gates they didn't close.
The vampire lords eyes widden, some glaring at Jake who's in no position to give them an explanation while others seemed to be happy that a sweet girl like Sora would be their queen but how is it possible?
"Jaeyun, you must guide the realm." Heeseung placed his hand on Jake's back.
He looked at Heeseung, after all he wasn't just a prince he was now a king and his realm needed him the most.
"Blood Moon is the answer, " he spoke before continuing
"The ruby moon stone came a long time ago and that's how we were able to live. Vampires aren't meant to exist but the blood moon rose upon the final descendants of our people."
Jake stood up, glaring at Sora behind them all but continued,
"The ruby moon stone appeared on earth and the royal family separated us to protect both the humans and our species." He raised his left hand swiftly in the air turning the lights off and lit up with torches of fire.
"The stone lived in the royal family's grounds for the next centuries at the heart of the realm while we prospered into the vampires we are now. But the stone was shattered by my parents into a pendant when they found out Zellers were betraying us to get the stone for themselves."
Jake glared at Sora's way before walking towards her,
"And you bare the responsibilities to protect that stone's final piece so that the two worlds don't clash" The pendant glowed as Jake gestured at the crescent shaped stone catching the serious gazes of the vampire lords.
"Even if she casts the barricade why did father ask you to marry Sora?" Sunoo questioned, for him Sora becoming the queen wasn't a problem as he loved the humbleness she had but he knew it wasn't the same for all his brothers.
"The stone wielder has always been a vampire, the blood moon choses it's wielder and she's the first human to be chosen but by traditions she is to be the queen." Jake added, frozen gaze stuck with Sora's eyes.
"Then you two must be married under all circumstances." Heeseung announced, Jake's eyes widden glaring at Heeseung's but remained silent as if he'd expected it.
"I'm not marrying a vampire!? Have you all lost your minds!!" Sora argued, her mouth open wide in shock.
She looked at them in disbelief, turning to leave but someone grabbed her wrist tightly, letting her to crash into his chest.
"Marry me." Jake looked at her expressionlessly as if he's ordering her to just order some food from an online shop like it's no big deal.
She stared at his eyes, looking for a sign of hesitation yet all she found was his determination.
"Didn't he hate me for this exact reason? Is he seriously doing this for his world or to torture me?"
"Do you think I'm a pet who'll wiggle it's tail over you? I'm a human and I'm here because I wish to live a "normal" life! I won't–" Jake pulled her closer by the wrist, their figures inches away from contact as his cold breath fanned her.
"If you don't want everyone to die with you then never refuse my orders." He threatened, but was stopped shortly by Jay taking his hand off her wrist.
"Don't threat her; she's a human." he defended her.
"As if you have a say in this." he scoffed at Jay, turning to look at the other lords before announcing,
"Prepare the realm to for the wedding and move Min Sora's belongings to my chambers right away." Jake walked off to the library as if he just had a casual conversation.
"Yah! Are you a psycho!?" she shouted at him as he walked off while the vampire lords gave soft smiles to each other in exchange before leaving.
Feeling someone's presence after the vampire lords left she looked behind her to see Jay offering her a book.
"Read this; the ending is interesting enough to keep you preoccupied from Jaeyun's cold glares" He handed her a what seemed like an ordinary book of a young woman's journey after losing someone beloved.
"Thank you Jay..." she smiled, taking the book.
"I'll speak to my brothers if the marriage can be stopped Min Sora." he turned around before leaving the room while Sora smiled.
"This is unbelievable but atleast some vampires are nice..." she looked around Jake's chambers looking out the massive balcony under the moonlight.
