After the strange incident he disappeared into thin air. But that wasn't what bothered Sora's thoughts it was his attire that seemed out of place in her head.
She sneaked around Jake's room after she woke up alone this morning and sure enough his clothes and attires always maintained a specific theme of dark colors where's he seemed to be wearing casual human clothes just now.
Maybe he's lazy to change but he's a vampire so that's weird but I guess it's not a problem he did save her life.
The dress on her body is neither too light nor too heavy just in the middle barely. Black fabric appetizing her curves she'd never noticed to shine, the structure of the gown specifically a few inches shorter at front showcasing her uncomfortable black heals set with a little length on the back of the dress that hugged her back.
To be honest she didn't hate it totally. Jake had an expensive taste; an elegant one specially to an extend of which she couldn't even recognize herself when she looked in the mirror after getting ready.
“Does this really show me for who I am? Make me happy? Doesn't matter I guess...it's for everyone.” She mumbled to herself seeing another reflection of herself in Jake's parent's giant glass portraits.
Heaving off a sigh she decided it's best to not bring up thoughts about herself in attempts to not become selfish which she hated since she could remember.
Her eyes gazed into the portraits of Sim Jihun and Ahn Sena; who always fought for not just their realms but for the mortal realm too.
Jihun, righteous and true to his titles and principles. His wife, Sena, just as beautiful. They seemed just the same when they'd met her 19 years ago.
She was a newborn child and yet she could still remember how nice they were to her the moment they saw her.
That reminds her of the exact moment she'd gotten that pendant from Sena. They looked at each other before Jihun had nodded at her to place the pendant in her palm and had left her house with a thank you note left behind before her parents could come back.
Jake tapped on her exposed shoulder softly diverting her attention to him, she moved her head to turn to face his suddenly taking in his new attire.
White shirt with a few loosened button on the top exposing his white untouchable collarbones, a black blazer with black diamonds as the unused buttons.
“Is he a god? How did he change so fast!?” She gulps, taking in his look unexpected.
“Looking at my parent's portraits won't bring them back.” He coldly responded. And damn he was colder than ice compared to the incident a moment ago.
“How did you change so quickly?” She asked, curiosity striking her even though she could guess he probably used his powers to be faster.
“Change what? I got ready when I got up.” He responded, looking at her as if he's wondering what she meant.
“But you just saved–” Sora tried to argue but swallowed the rest of the sentence as someone interrupted.
“Your Majesty, the ceremony will begin soon.” Jungwon entered the hall, notifying Jake about the preparations complete.
Jake nodded at the vampire lord grabbing Sora's hand, gently dragging her towards the very back end of the palace.
Sora's lips glued to each other as they walked hallways to more hallways her foot aching in pain from the heals.
“Lord how big is this one place!”
She hissed in pain imagining bruises in her feet by the time she'd take the knife like heels off of her poor feet.
Jake looked at her with raw emotions as if wondering why she stopped with such little walk.
“It hurts...” She wispered, her hands grabbing onto the wall beside her to balance herself from falling.
Jake could care less but he knew it can be painful if she were to end up with bruises. And that's just a hassle he doesn't want to deal with at this moment of time.
“She's so fragile damn it” He grumbled before placing his hand on her waist and legs picking her up bridal style.
Sora gasped as he picked her up in shock. “WHAT THE–”
“Hold on tight we'll go fast then.” He warned, Sora immediately held her arms around his neck closing her eyes shut as if preparing for the tsunami to swallow her to death.
