"I have a lot of assignments to complete, Zenitsu, and today is packed with work beyond just my school tasks. I appreciate the invitation, but I'm not going," I replied firmly. He looked at me with a blank expression before breaking into a smile. "We can work on the assignment at my place," he suggested, still grinning. "But I have other commitments-" "You can leave right after we finish the assignment!" he insisted cheerfully, pulling me along to the train station.
Once on the train, we maintained a good distance from each other. I couldn't shake the feeling of discomfort over his lack of apology to the person he had interrupted.

Suddenly, I felt a hand grasp mine-the one holding onto the handle. I glanced at him, ready to protest, but as the train jolted, I stumbled slightly. He looked at me with an expression that seemed to say, "This is why I'm holding your hand." I sighed and settled in, waiting for our stop.
We both got off and headed towards his house. As soon as we arrived, he pulled me inside swiftly and closed the door behind him. Before he could say anything, I firmly stated, "You shouldn't have done that, Zenitsu. You should have apologized to them." He grasped my hand and leaned in closer, saying, "So, you think I'm in the wrong here, Y/N-chan? I was just trying to protect you..." I responded, "Protect me from him? He's my classmate; he was just asking a question."
