Therus sat with Pierce.
"Do you love my daughter?" Therus asked . Pierce looked around to see if Stella was watching . He then looked at him with caring eyes .
"I do. A lot . She's just that kind of girl ya know?"
"I know......she gets it from her mother.  That's what I came to you about.  My wife and her brother were very close and he had a will for the business to be handed over and to be settled at a property and I  you to be her security.  I'll pay you." Therus asked. 
"....my dad's gonna kill me.......but I'll do it.  I wanna see if this will work out to turn my life around. "
"If it doesnt?"
"All I got is my dad and my 3 brothers mister jackson."
"Mother?"
"She had the guts to kill herself before Pharrell took her life away.....I saw her smile through it my brother's were playing football outside and I saw mom and dad arguing . She loved us too much to walk out so I saw her praying for forgiveness.....playing my dad's mixtape that never selled but she was his....our biggest fan.  And she prayed he'd get a deal so he could leave his father's legacy alone. But it turns Out after she died he gave up music and God gave it to me I don't use it ."
"Why not ? You got some talent."
"So does everyone else and it doesn't work out. I'm too tall to sing." Pierce said chuckling.  They heard something drop. They looked and Stella sighed.
"You got me and being tall with talent Is why I liked you in the first place so take it back!" Stella said hugging Pierce. 
"Fine fine." Pierce said trying not flirt so much around her dad.
"Good. Now what's this intense vibe about?" Stella  asked sitting by her boyfriend.
"Can't tell you sorry." They both said. Stella gasped .
"You turned my man against me." Stella dramatically pouted.
"Beat it ." Therus said and Stella left sticking her tongue out at him and as she went behind her father she did a heart for Pierce  as she turned around and went upstairs. 
"I'll do it." Pierce said.
"Good. Your job starts tomorrow so let your dad and brothers know ."

Pierce got home and he heard his father singing .
"Hey son what's up?"
"HI dad. I found a job so I'll be gone most the time."
"Good. Can you talk to your brothers i want them out of here too. They don't deserve this life.'
"Neither do you dad. Mom wouldn't have wanted you too." Pierce said being straight forward as they always were. "I don't give a fuck either if you get upset.  Because it's about time someone said it to you damn it. "  Pierce said and his father looked at him and nodded.
"Good night. "
"....night dad." Pierce went to bed and his brothers were up watching the fight.
"How's your girlfriend?"cage asked being the middle son.
"If she said yes." Garrett chimed. He was the second to youngest from Pierce.
"So ? How is she?" Cage asked ignoring the negativity as usual. He was an optimistic guy.
"She's good and yes we are official now." Pierce said and the boys dapped him up.
"When can we meet this ella?" Garrett asked being goofy as usual.
"Don't call her that.  " Pierce argued.
"My bad nigga. "
"And I don't know. "
"How about on your first date. We drive you after school. " cage offered.
"Good idea." Garrett said.  "Watchu think lewis?" Lewis the oldest sighed.
"It's cool . But if dad finds out that's your ass." Lewis said.
"I know that. Oh and I got a job."
"Oh shit!" Garrett said highly proud.
"That's what I'm talking about. " cage encouraged.
"If we all don't get out of here......at least you did." Lewis said proud as well. "Don't worry cage is going to college for programing as planned and garret is gonna be a security guard. "
"What about you?" Pierce asked
"Don't worry about me. I got my own plans. Yall gotta leave first." Lewis concluded not wanting to talk anymore.   Pierce phone rung and he answered.
"HI ella."
"HI boo."
"What's up sis!" Cage shouted.
"Hiii! " Stella shouted.
"She spoke back . " Pierce groaned.
"As she should. Tell her we'll pick her up from school tomorrow and we'll take yall out." Garrett said grabbing a drink.
"Did you hear that?"
"Yup and what should I wear?" Stella asked excited.  "I don't wanna do too much. "
"Don't worry about that princess you look good in everything. " Pierce said forgetting his brother's were listening.
"Aaaww princess." Cage cooed.
"Shut up." Pierce argued walking out as the boys were laughing. "Sorry ."
"It's OK.  I'm used to that . My cousins are just as annoying.  So what should I wear again? Wait what are you wearing so I can match you."
"Navy blue."
