Chapter Sixteen

Chapter 16

The rest of the car ride was silent and tense, however, Max and Amy were starting to feel the butterflies as they realised that they were about to meet their parents, their real parents who will love them. They will never be able to replace the parents that they grew up with however, they are still their parents.

The cars soon pulled up to the palace gates which didn't hesitate to open for them, the warrior wolves soon departed to shift an get ready for the official arrival.

Max and Amy where looking around in awe and Andy and Mia breathed a sigh of relief that they were finally home and safe. 

Skye, Zander, Emily and James were all stood at the doors of the palace nervous and excited to finally meet their children again. 

The cars pulled to a stop and Andy and Mia ran to their parents hugging and kissing them, thankful to be home and safe, Max and Amy slowly climbed out and waited next to the car for the reunion to finish before they interrupted. 

Zander was the first one over to greet them, tears falling from his eyes as he looked at his daughter who was clutching onto her mates arm to stop her from falling over. 

"My little girl" Zander whispered as he walked over, "My little Amy" he finally broke down and pulled her in for a hug, Amy felt to connection and knew that this man in front of her is her father and she finally broke down as they finally felt like she was home. 

Soon Skye ran over and wrapped her arms around both her mate and her long lost little girl, sobbing and kissing her head over and over.

Emily let go of Mia and tackled Max in a hug, as tear streamed down her face "Your home, your finally home, my baby" she kept whispering as she pulled him closer if possible.  

James walked over and wrapped his arms around his son, and his mate, something he had been longing for for 18 years.

Andy and Mia hugged each other, watching as their parents were reunited with their long lost children and they couldn't stop the smiles from taking over, and the tears from streaming down their faces. 

It was the happiest moment the castle had ever witnesses. 

However, no one was aware of the dark shadow that was lurking in the trees out side the palace. No one could see the sinister smile that now graced Marco's lips, for he knew that this would happen, he was not stupid, and now his plan was in full swing and everyone, even his wife, was unaware of what was about to happen. Marco was going to let them have their little moment, have their 'success', for it wouldn't last long and when it was over, he would be the one ruling over the supernatural world.
