Zander POV

It is the day of the dinner party for the twins, we have invited all the Alpha's, Beta's, their mates and children to have a get together.

Right now I am trying to comfort Amy and Andy as Skye starts getting ready.

"Oh give them to me" my mum said as she took them from my arms and began rocking them and signing to them making them stop crying and calm down.

"How...?" I ask trailing off

"Women are just better than men" she said smirking

I shake my head and take Andy from her arms and have a cuddle with him before the party.

"So how do I look?" Skye asked as she stepped down the stairs and did a twirl

"You look beautiful hun" I said as I kiss her gently careful not to squish Andy between us

"And how are my beautiful little babies?" she whispered taking Andy and Amy into her arms and snuggling them close to her.

"Having tempertantruns already" I say jokingly as I wrap my arms around my mate with our twins in her arms.

"They must take after their dad then" she teased back making me frown

"I do believe that you had tantrums and I was the only one able to calm you down, 'MY ZANDER!' you used to scream...even then" I whisper the last part in her ear making her blush and giggle.

"Come on, we're late" She says walking off

I quickly catch up and take a wiggling Amy from her arms and wrap her in mine.

We soon enter the main hall where all the Alpha's, Beta's, mates and children where stood watching us walk to our seats at the head of the table. I kiss Amy's forehead and carefully passed her to Skye where Andy was sleeping.

I turned back to the table where everyone was looking at me, Skye and our kids, smiles on their faces

"Welcome everyone, I hope that everyone got here safely and will have a good night tonight. I would like you all to meet my pups Andy and Amy" I announced smiling as Skye stood up with our pups in her arms, all the females awed and cooed over them as they left in a group and I joined the men as they patted me on the back

"Congratulations your highness, I wish you all the luck in the world, your going to need it, mine were a nightmare with waking in the night, they still are" The oldest Alpha said, he was 54 and was retiring at the end of the year and his third oldest son was taking over, his oldest two were twins and they both left to join their mates pack.

"I only just got 3 hours of sleep last night, even if Skye got up I wouldn't be able to sleep till she was back at my side" I sighed 

"Don't worry, it get's better, but then they grow up and start talking back" the men laughed at my horrified face

"Oh great, I had twins about 4 or 5 days ago and they sleep the whole night apart from a feed in between" James the Alpha of the blood stone pack said smiling

"How you been coping with them?" I ask

"I haven't, my mate has been trying to train me but I just cant change nappies, I put them on back wards and inside out"He said laughing making me laugh

"Oh yeah, I was the same, but after the 5th slap on the nose I learnt" I said chuckling

"Queen Skye slapped your nose?" he asked confused

"No the twins" I said making them laugh loudly at me.

Skye POV

I was sitting with the mates and their children talking and laughing about the babies
