Chapter fifteen
The cars were silent and tense as everyone peered out the windows hoping to catch a glance at a wolf, while Max keep his eye on nana who was still following in the car.
"I think I saw something..." Amy trailed off, everyone went on high alert looking for what Amy saw, until the tense atmosphere was broken by a wolf jumping between our car and nana's car forcing her to stop. We stopped a few yards after and slowly got out. Nana's car was now surrounded by wolves.
"Mark" Danny said stepping forward, "thank's for coming so quickly"
"Glad we could help and good afternoon Your Highnesses" Marks said bowing slightly.
"Hello Mark, shame we didn't meet again under better circumstances"
Amy and Max slowly made their way over to the car where nana was slowly climbing out, Andy and Mia not far behind looking around to make sure that there wasn't anyone else around.
"What are you doing nana?" Max asked
"I was following you my dears, I thought you had been kidnapped!!" Nana replied looking worried but everyone could smell the lie, it smelt like burnt sugar
"Why are you lying?!?!" Max shouted angry now
"I CAN'T LET YOU GO BACK!!! MARCO TOOK YOU FOR A REASON!!!! YOU CAN NOT RUIN OUR PLAN!!!!" nana cried out, she was about to cast a spell, we could see the electricity dancing around her fingers however, before she could release it brass cuffs were put around her wrists, stopping any magic.
She was quickly put into the car with Danny, Sandie and Jamie along with another wolf to keep her trapped. All 4 princes' and princesses got back into the car a little shaken and everyone started to make their way back to the castle. All the other wolves started to surround the cars in order to keep them all safe from any danger that could now face them.
The once happy trip back to the castle now shadowed by the experience they had with nana and the impending threat of Marco coming to get them, especially since nana was not getting out any time soon.
