Chapter five

18 years later

Andy POV

Me and Mia were in the garden of the palace walking around, hand in hand. It is a week until our 18th birthday and our mum and dad keep looking at us worridly as if we will suddenly disappear from them.

"What do you think is up with our parents?" Mia whispers quietly

"I dont know, but I'm going to find out, but you know mum is pregnant and is due soon" I say as I tug her to my side and press a kiss to her temple. she sighs and nods

"I suppose"

"Come on, I'll run you a nice hot bath" I say smiling as she smiles up at me as we head back towards the palace.

As we walked in we heard shouting, I ran towards it, Mia by my side

"What is going on?!" I call over the shouting

Everyone falls silent

"Well?" I ask crossing my arms and gingerly a girl steps forward well gets pushed to the front

"It is your mother your highness', she has gone into laybour" she says shyly

I run from the room to the doctors wing and run to the room I can hear my mums screams from. I burst though the door

"MUM!!" Me and and Mia shout and run over and each grab her left hand as her right is engulfed into dads

"Oh, good....I thought...you two wouldn't make it" she says breathlessly

"I wouldn't miss it mum" I say and kiss her forehead. 

mum is pregnant with a little girl that I know dad is going to spoil rotten, he always whines he want a little girl, I even heard him say he wants his little girl back once but he quickly covered it.

"Okay, hello your highness' I just came to check on you" the doctor said walking in and pulling on the gloves. 

"Okay you seem ready to push, lets get this show on the road" he says smiling and then proceeded to drag in two nurses and a baby cot

hours of non stop screaming later from my dad and swearing and shouting abuse from my mum a baby scream filled the air. Mum sobbed and leaned back on the bed, dad kissing her forehead

"Congratulations King Zander and Queen Skye, here is your new born baby girl" said the doctor as she gave mum the baby all wrapped in a blanket.

Some time later nanny Skylar came round with the family and Payton brought her babies Todd and Tyler who are a year younger than me but still act like they are 4.

"Awe they are the cutest" Payton cooed down at my sister. "What is her name?"

"Anastasia" mum murmered half asleep

"Can I hold her again?" I whine from the seat by my mum

Everyone rolls there eyes and Payton hands me my sister.

"Anastasia, you are going to be spoiled rotten, maybe you will even get to find out what is behind the locked door on the landing near mum's and dad's bedroom" I whisper quietly, no one is listening, mum is asleep, dad is about to follow and Payton and Mia are talking away. There is a room a door or so down from mum and dad's bedroom that is always locked, mum and dad go in there some times but I cant get in.

Amy POV

3 days till mine and Max's 18th birthday! Max is my mate, he is the best fighter in the pack especially being the beta's son. I am the Omega's daughter but everyone treats me like the alpha's daughter because I do so much to help them...or so they say.

"AMY!!!!" Max's voice shouted making me jump. I hoped out of our bed, yes me and Max share a bed, in our own house in the werewolf community and our parents let us

"Come on Amy or I will have to eat all of nana's pancakes myself" he whispers then ran from the room as I shot out of bed and headed for the door only to trip over my blanket and watch as he runs away laughing.

Nana is the best person in the world, she is my grandma but she doesn't like the term and so we have to call her nana, she makes the best pancakes ever and chocolate brownies. we only see her twice a month and she stays with us when she does.

"NANA!!!!!!!!!" I scream running into the kitchen and sweeping her into a bear hug

"Oh Amy!" she gasped grabbing me into a tight hug.

"How have you been nana?" I ask kissing her cheek and sitting down as she puts a plate on the table

"I have been good my angel, how have you been?" she asked sipping her tea

"Good. Almost mine and Max's birthday!" I cheer happily

"Oh I bet that is exciting" she commented smiling at us as we ate our breakfast.

After breakfast we headed to school. 

"What do you want for your birthday?" I ask Max on the way to school

"You" he said smiling at me

"No seriously, what do you want?" I ask

"I dunno...." he trailed off "What do you want?"

"......a new cactus" I say sadly

"You killed another?" he asked shaking his head

"I dont know how, I water them the right amount, they have light and URGGG!!!! I CANT EVEN KEEP A CACTUS ALIVE, HOW AM I MEANT TO KEEP A BABY ALIVE?!" I say angrily and Max swerved the car making me scream. He quickly got control and he looked at me

"are you pregnant?" he whispers 

I shake my head "no, I can't be, we are always safe" I say rolling my eyes although doubt was settling in my stomach as I thought of how I was sick the last two mornings.... I shake the feeling off.

"Oh...I guess your right" Max whispers sounding slightly sad

"Don't worry once we have left school" I say smiling gently and resting my hand on his thigh

he nods and we go to school in silence.

At the end of the day, we go home to see Nana sitting in the kitchen talking to our parents, all looking serious

"Hey guys" they say and we hug and kiss them all 

"What's going on?" I ask

"Nothing" they say quickly

"Fine, I got homework so see you later" I say and walk up to our room and start on the homework, god I hate English, I don't care about Macbeth and his crazy psychopathic thoughts (No offence if you like that stuff but it is quiet boring)

I go into the bathroom and do my business when I see the small calender by the sink. I dive over and look at the dates....2 weeks late. I pale and run out the house flying down the stairs

"GOING OUT, BACK SOON!!" I call over my shoulder and run to the car and drive to the pharmacy. I pick up 10 different pregnancy sticks and quickly pay for them after getting pity looks from the old cashier, and drive to Kelly's house. Kelly is my best friend. I knock rapidly and she opens the door. I run up stairs to her room and into her bathroom. I pee on the sticks and let Kelly in, she had been banging on the door for the last 15 minutes.

"What is going on Amy?" she asks then sees the sticks laying out on the side and gasps "Are you pregnant?" 

"No, I just spent a but load of money on these things for the hell of it" I say sarcastically giving her a flat look

"Oh right sorry" she mutters.

After the necessary 5 minutes passed I stood up slowly from the toilet seat and make my way over. I reach out and look at the first one......
