As an employee of two years, I've enjoyed my days working with VoxTech. The salary was great, I've made new friends, and have grown a lot closer to my boss, Vox, in general. My days usually consisted of paperwork and a lot of time at my desk, although I was still finding room to joke around with my coworkers in the office.

My desk neighbor, Felix the Fox, was very kind to me. With an orange, fluffy coat and white chest fluff exposed through his tie, I enjoyed being able to call him my best friend. He definitely had a crush on me, but I've explained my opinion about dating in the workplace, which he accepted kindly.

Today was just another boring Tuesday. I was at the printer and faxing some important papers, mainly the instruction manuals for VoxTech products. The biggest one right now was for Angelic Security, which our fearless leader invented on the spot during an interview.

But suddenly, there was a short power outage. We all looked around, trying to figure out what happened. "(Y/n), are you alright?" I heard my friend call. I nodded my head, although realizing he couldn't see me in the dark.

The lights flickered back on after a few minutes, and the computers had to reboot. I heard my coworkers grumble, having to accept that some of their work hadn't been saved and they lost a lot of progress. We eventually went back to normal, although confused as to how the sudden power outage happened.

Finally getting back into the groove of things, my phone rang, to which Felix smirked. "I can only imagine who's calling."

I rolled my eyes, already knowing it was the boss. No one else really used the phones other than him, and for some reason he was against texting his employees.

"Yes?" I answered, curious to see what he wanted from me now. I put him on speaker, not expecting him to be so loud and furious.

"(Y/n), come into my office, immediately." He then hung up the phone.

Pretty much the entire downstairs office heard his demand, giving me skeptical expressions but not surprised. I glanced over at Felix, who's tail swayed back and forth while leaning back in his chair with a playful expression on his face.

"Uh oh, the boss is calling for his favorite bunny~" Felix teased in a sing-song voice, knowing I disliked it when they called me anything other than my real name.

I huffed, slightly annoyed that the boss interrupted my work. I was doing so well and had been focused. But duty calls.

"He probably just needs a coffee. I'll be right back."

With a sigh, I went into the elevator, grabbing the step stool and reaching up to press one of the several buttons. Yes, they put a step stool in the elevator for me...we don't talk about it.

By the time I made it into the boss's office, Valentino was already trying to comfort the flat faced demon. They noticed me as the moth grinned, walking past and ruffling my fur teasingly.

"Vox, your little bunny is here. I'll leave you two alone~"

Valentino, his business partner, shut the door behind him before disappearing through the vestibule. It was just me and the boss now as he put a hand to his monitor, clearly stressed.

"Bunny...do you know why I called you in here?"

I shook my head; I could tell something was bothering him. Boss pressed a button on the control panel, playing a music video of himself...but there was someone else who interrupted the song.

I was actually enjoying Vox's part, clearly amused. All of his silly little costumes and how quickly he talked was entertaining. But then it got interrupted.
